Multi-function and multi bank radio. Does everything
Great emergency radio. Does everything. SW actually works. NOAA weather band works great. A little heavy, but that’s to be expected when it has large internal rechargeable battery and crank charger. Storage battery capacity is sufficient enough to charge cellphone multiple times. Crank and solar cells are just adequate to maintain battery not really sufficient to charge a dead battery. Easy to operate. Great item highly recommended

Great versatile compact am/fm/noaa weather radio!
I had been wanting to get an AM/FM radio to stop using my phone and saw this one has the weather alert feature too. The different power options are great allowing you to take it wherever you want. It has the push buttons, not dials, but it does well in going through the different stations. I haven't checked out the shortwave feature yet, so that'll be interesting. It's small but yet when fully reaching your station you can hear it very well. I like Moody or Bott Radio and I'm thankful to get it clearly plus of course music. It is serving its purpose! It arrived quickly overnight. It arrived charged and I put it on a window (it's small enough to just sit on top of the bottom part of a regular window) for better reception and had it on a low volume while I worked so it wasn't overpowering yet I could hear the good things in the background. Then when not on the phone turned up the volume push button and it's amazing, nice and clear. I had wanted a retro radio but this one had more to offer. The small strap is handy, you can attach it to things. It's 6 inches or so wide (check your dimensions for what you want), so very small but efficient design and usability for it's size. The 6 led lights for reading or whatever are bright and adequate and has 2 levels of light. Flashlight has 2 levels of light. The charge seems to last a good while but I haven't had it on for a very long time, but had it on for at least 6 hours while working without it being plugged in. I'm so glad this little radio has so much to offer and I'm impressed. Great buy for sure.

No channel memory/favorites and no power on memory of last tuned station
This is an exceptionally capable, lightweight radio - with a couple of key things missing and odd button placement. I bought it on a suggestion from Kim Komando. It has many great functions and abilities - but I will list the things I would change . First, the volume up and down buttons are reversed from what an American user would expect. They have + on left and - on right. Tune buttons would seem reversed as well. The big deal for me though is - NO ability to memorize favorite channels. ALSO, every time I turn the radio on, it starts in Wx mode - silent, so you have to pick the band you were last on and re-tune the radio every single time it's powered on. This radio has SO MANY other abilities, that it seems these should be possible. And yet, these items are noticeably missing. In all other ways, the radio is great - and so I did not return it, but now have it as a monitor/backup source during storms and outages. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the two missing items I think it should have.

Review of Raynic all in one Weather Radio.
Reception on SW Frequency is not sensitive and is weak or unable to receive, it does not pic up channels on the SW band well. AM and FM seem to receive well. All of the radio lights/flashlight work well. NOAA Weather channels work well. Very small and light weight, and I like the (camouflage print) on the radio. Very compact and useful and the Solar charger seems to work well. and hand crank charger.

Small but perfect for any occasion.
I am super excited about this little radio. Much smaller than I thought but the sound quality, receiver signal strength, volume control, ease of use, and the quality are entirely exceptional. The brightness on the flashlight was pretty descent and the reading led is very nice to use. I love the idea with the internal battery, solar charging, hand crank, and backup batteries is very clever so you will not run out of power when you need it.

Pick This One
Saw a lot of different variations of these but this seemed like the more up-to-date solid option of the bunch and I wasn't disappointed. Simple but does it's job. Lots of ways to charge and power this. Good compact size and build quality. Volume and all the controls function as expected.

Nice Little Radio
I have bought two of these. They are very utilitarian and inexpensive. I keep one in my workshop. They run on battery and Ac;; have a flashlight , and a warning sound. The dialing/ tuning is not that precise- you have to fish around a bit to get certain channels..But this is a minor matter. Reception is very good in both AM and FM and weather channels. Recommended

Affordable choice for Weather Alert radio (assuming alerts work!)
I wanted to buy the Midland - ER310 ($50 on sale) based on great reviews from The Wirecutter and CNET. However, it’s only available for $101+ from an Amazon seller (way overpriced). Look around and you can find it for $50 at other stores. I didn’t want to wait as we have bad weather in our area now and I wanted to be prepared ASAP. This radio arrived the next day for $35. * What I like: Small size; very compact and it feels solid & durable (also IPX3 waterproof). The buttons to select options/change channels feel very nice and have a satisfying click. The reading light and flashlight work well. Very nice carrying strap. Digital tuner makes it easy to select stations. Loud SOS alarm. The unit came fully charged and ready to use. The ability to power the device from standard batteries (3 AAA’s), hand crank, or AC adapter. It has a solar panel but the manual notes it’s not intended to fully charge the unit but to “keep it operational” (my interpretation of the instructions). Speaker quality isn’t too bad for such a small unit. It’s not amazing, but it will do fine for news and weather alerts. The unit will use its rechargable battery for power first, then use AAA batteries if they are installed. This is a great feature and extends the runtime of the device. Radio also has a clock so you can check the time at a glance while using the radio. Headphone jack to listen to audio privately; ability to charge a device via USB. A plastic cover for the charge/power ports, to protect from dust/dirt. And I like the green colored case! I didn’t want bright orange so this is very nice. LCD screen backlight so you could use the device easily in the dark. * What I don’t like: Solar panel isn’t as usable for charging as I would like. I have not tested it but the manual specifically states the panel is not intended to fully charge the unit. There is no ability to save radio stations to memory/presets.. would be very useful. Now I just keep a piece of paper near the unit with radio stations written down, so I know which to tune to for news/etc. The radio antenna is quite short, so some stations won’t come in as clearly (but it works OK). While the fabric strap feels nice and provides a good way to carry the unit, the strap gets in the way of the flip-up reading light. One can move the strap out of the way but it does feel like this could have been designed better. * To be determined: I have no idea yet if NOAA Weather alerts work. If there’s a weather alert the radio is supposed to sound an alarm and flash a light, so you know to turn the radio on to listen to the weather alert. I haven’t received any alerts yet, but have only had this about 6 hours. When the device is set to receive weather alerts (by default it is set to do this), when the radio is on standby (powered off) a red LED on the side of the radio flashes once every 7 seconds. This is a nice way to confirm the setting, but until I receive an alert I won’t know if that works or not. (And it’s one of the reasons why I bought it!) * Summary A nice, compact unit that seems to work well based on what I have been able to test so far. Once I receive a weather alert I’ll know for certain this works as expected; will update review if possible when that happens. Until I can verify the device fully functions I’m rating it 3/5 stars. Provided the weather alerts work, I think this is a good unit for $35. The Midland is $15 more but may be worth the cost, if you don’t want to take a chance on a company you have never heard of before.
