what cable should i use cat 5e 6 or 7?

A quality cat5e/6 cable with solid copper wires of 23 or 24 AWG is spec'ed for POE. Do not use cheap CCA cable. If you plan to bury the cable use burial rated cable. If you plan to put the cable in the attic, or in wall use riser rated cable. If in an air space ( like in office buildings ) use plenum rated cables. Do not use the counterfeit cat6/5e/7 "flat" cables sold on Amazon. Do not use the cables with CCA wires.
