Update 10/14/18: It's been 3 months and mop attachment is holding up great. Was concerned about mop head attachment--never used this style, but alls well. Strong and sturdy aluminum also. Additionally, worked great as a walking stick when my back went out--good times!

These are awesome mop handles. Even if the plastic touches the floor it won't scratch. The plastic is very tuff. This mop handle can hold about anything you put in it's claws. You screw it open and shut. It works great! I highly recommend this mop handle. Amazon also sells another mop handle similar to this that is all yellow. I bought more of them and they are cheaper and strong enough for use in the home.
