Product is working as expected but...
Product is working as expected but there is not protection plug as pictured on the product display page ... miss one star there ... and somehow i got my import tax upgraded due to unreasonable charges inform by Fedex to the custom which differ from what i paid, another advancement fee more also to the Fedex due to more than $25 tax (which should be lower and paid less fee) ... the custom already inform me, they calculated based on transporter information, it is wrong and so does the tax, nothing can do about it :( ... one more star missing ... sorry seller, but still, thanks for the product.

Makes my tablet crash :(
It's crashing my X1 tablet. It also wont turn on if this is plugged into it. I had to unplug and reset the tablet to make ti work again. Phew, that was scary. I dont understand why this makes the tablet crash. I am contacting Lenovo support for help. If I find a solution, I'll paste it here.

Dead on arrival
Unit was dead on arrival and would not charge. Tech support unable to solve issue. Good responsiveness for generating an RMA# to return the unit. Ordered another new unit subsequently from Lenovo.com. Same problem. Again tech support unable to resolve the issue. Not sure what the problem is as I have a projector unit that works perfectly.

Solid external battery that limits your options when installed
This was needed because of the limited battery life of the X1 Tablet (Series 2) itself. My biggest disappointment was you can't use the keyboard cover when this is installed. My son wanted a laptop and had been using an iPad. The iPad wasn't working for him so I opted to get the Thinkpad X1 Series 2 tablet (before the 3 was available, and I found a deal). however battery life was only 3-4 hours at most so an extra battery was really welcome when I found it. however since it blocks the slot that the keyboard doesn't go on and you can't daisy chain them together in anyway, you need another USB keyboard or something else to do a keyboard and be on the battery at the same time. Meh.
