This was a little bit more than many of the cheap umbrellas you could find, but after extensive research and ratings review, I decided to purchase it. First off there are many umbrellas that only connection point is the weak single point rope that opens the umbrella at the top. I had one of those umbrellas before and you have to shove a large section of the frame up, which is very awkward, and the rope broke a few years into it and I spent a YouTube video and most of a day jury rigging a fix along with a canvas replacement after it fell apart to get a few more years out of it. This style umbrella has two connecting points one at the top and one an arm on the side and there’s an easy click push lever to push it into position before cranking it open as well as a crank feature on the bottom to rotate. It. I love the wood finish on the aluminum structure elements. Obviously it’s just a nice to have, but I was impressed with how much better it makes the umbrella look and that woodgrain is also on all of the arms that open the umbrella so it’s very visible. The umbrella is basically already assembled, except for the base that you need to buy separately, and that itself was assembled, except for one stem piece and then of course, filling it with sand and water which is not a ton of fun, but unnecessary evil with any of these umbrellas. Even the base was much better constructed than the one I had before which was basically just a plastic cover over bags of sand. Finally, I love the rust red fabric color that I chose. It’s polyester, so not premium like the sunbrella umbrellas, but all the umbrellas that had that premium fabric that weren’t ridiculously overpriced had cheap bad frames. I decided the compromise was to get an umbrella with a less robust fabric but a solid frame and to also buy an umbrella cover since I realized 99.9% of the damage to my past umbrella was from sitting there folded up in the sun. You can get an umbrella cover from Amazon for $40. Great product, clear installation guidance and relatively easy to assemble although at the point you lift the 11 foot umbrella onto the pole two people would be nice even though I survived it barely solo. I highly recommend this umbrella, but I also recommend purchasing an umbrella cover for it since the fabric would likely not last long without it.

This review is for the purpose Purple Leaf 11-foot round cantilever umbrella. The umbrella is a high quality, attractive umbrella. It appears very well constructed, utilizing support components that are oversized compared to other umbrellas I have seen. The blue fabric is very attractive and appears to be of high quality. Assembly was easy only requiring mounting the umbrella attachment to the base using the 4 included bolts. There was some wrapping located on the inside of the umbrella used to keep it closed during shipment that required removal before umbrella would open. The umbrella is easy to open and close, and swivel and angle adjustments are easily done with 2 cranks. Primarily purchased the umbrella to provide cover from rain and snow for our hot tub. I mounted it to a Purple Leaf rolling base to allow for easy movement to different areas of my deck. You should note that this style umbrella requires a large area free of obstructions to open and close, so choose your size carefully. All in all, a great value in a high quality umbrella.

These umbrellas are beautiful and so convenient. They move every direction and are sturdy. We have 3 (with a 4th being delivered soon) and they have been game changers for how we are able to use our yard all year long living in AZ. We had a HUGE storm with a micro burst and it knocked over one these umbrellas, it broke one of the ribs on the umbrella. I reached out to the company about getting a replacement rib, they responded quickly and not only was I able to order the part but they sent video instructions on doing the repair. They followed up to make sure we were able to make the repair and were satisfied. I would and have recommended this company!

When I first unpacked this umbrella, I could tell that it was very well made. This thing is solid. Definitely built for stability and durability. It is heavy so it took a bit to assemble myself but so worth it. All of the parts fit together perfectly and the assembly was very smooth. Their instructions are fantastic. Detailed, step by step with color illustrations. And the seller was great communicating with me as far as shipping, delivery, and suggestions for assembling it. Rotating and tilting the umbrella is very smooth. You can go 360 degrees and the foot pedal is very easy to use as well as the crank to open it. Since it was heavy, I was concerned my wife would have trouble opening, closing, and positioning it, but no. The balance of the umbrella makes that very easy. And even with a 12-15mph wind, it was solid and didn't blow around at all. Definitely get the base that is made for this. It is sold separately so keep that in mind when purchasing. Great job, Purple Leaf! I would definitely buy another one of these.

Well made, great quality of canvas, and very attractive wood patterned pole. My husband used 300 lbs of sand to fill the base with a commercial funnel which he widened by cutting off the bottom. That allowed the sand to freely flow. He topped off the sand with water and the base is quite stable! The 10x13 provides great conversation pit coverage on our patio. It is worth every penny!

I think the umbrella and post are great. The base is a little on the large side but is needed to keep the umbrella upright.

This is a quality product. I am happy with it. I just think it is overpriced and for what I paid, I think it should come with the base or maybe a solar panel with lights. It's easy to set up, but would be easier if they included a quick instruction sheet. There is a manual but I had a couple of questions that were in the manual, but I overlooked.

Ein sehr guter Sonnenschirm, optisch sehr attraktiv durch die Holzoptik. Leicht und funktional zu handhaben. Durch den optional dazugekauften "Purple Leaf" 100kg Schirmständer sehr standfest. Das Tuch (Farbe rot) ist von guter Qualität, absolut Lichtundurchlässig und bei einem kleinen Regenschauer perlt das Wasser wunderbar ab. Sehr schön auch, dass eine Wetterschutzhülle im Lieferumfang enthalten ist. Volle Punktzahl auch für den Verkäufer "Purple Leaf". Der erste Schirm kam mit Transportschäden bei uns an, die Regress Abwicklung verlief absolut unkompliziert über einen freundlichen E-Mail Kontakt. Der Ersatzschirm war binnen weniger Tage bei uns eingetroffen.

La raison pour laquelle je n'ai mis que 4 étoiles est que pour le prix je considère qu'il devrait y avoir un pied en forme de croix permettant d'accueillir 4 dalles en ciment. J'ai donc dû acheter la croix en acier composée de 2 barres de 100 cm chacune, percer 4 trous dedans car le mat du parasol Purple Leaf a un écartement de trous différents de tous les parasols du marché, pour pouvoir ensuite poser sur la croix mes 4 dalles en ciment de 20kg chacune. A part cela, la toile, l'infrastructure et le mécanisme d'inclinaison et de pivotement à 360° sont de très bonne facture. Quant à la double canopée, ce n'est pas un gadget.

Ein Bild war irreführend und daher sah das Produkt in echt nicht ganz wie beschrieben aus, der Verkäufer hat das Bild aber sofort entfernt, um Missverständnisse für zukünftige Käufer vorzubeugen und uns ein weiteres Teil, das wir eigentlich noch zusätzlich erwerben mussten, geschenkt. Wir hatten Zeitdruck und der Verkäufer es nicht auf Lager - es kam trotzdem pünktlich. Es waren auch alle Teile da und die Qualität ist auch sehr gut (was man bei 680 EUR für nen Sonnenschirm auch erwarten darf). Wirklich top!

Qualité et robustesse exceptionnelle mais ne sert à rein si vous ne prenez pas le pied à 200€. Il est parfait et ne perd pas sa couleur. J'en ai acheté des parasols et celui-ci est de loin le meilleur de tous. Le vent n'a jamais réussi à le plier. Extraordinaire ! The best !

We had to pay for the shipping as it was an international delivery, but it arrived within one or two days after the purchase and was very well packed. The parasol is Patio Umbrella and was very easy to assemble. The only problem I had was finding the correct base for it, we ended up buying PURPLEAF 130kg Parasol Stand for Cantilever Parasols for the 3,5m umbrella and it works perfectly. Definitely worth the money.
