NOW Foods Organic Confectioner's Erythritol (1lbs/ 454g)

I use this in baking and my teas and it is all good but when I tried reducing it while making condensed milk, it caramelized or something and became extremely hot and browned. Tastes good but not what you want in a condensed milk

Very good for dental hygiene. I mix 1/2 teaspoon with just enough water for 4 mouth wash. Basically for two days amount. I don't even refrigerate the mixture. Just put it on table room temp. My dentist was amazed how clean my teeth are. He barely needed to do anything. No gum disease and very minimum buildup. I even dip an inter-dental brush into this mixture and go between teeth. I think this is better than oil-pulling 100%. Easy to use, easy to travel with, very effective and it tastes good. I don't swallow the mixture. I spit it out because this sugar alcohol can give people upset stomach or gas. Two thumbs up!

Erythritol pretty much tastes the same no matter what brand you get. I have gotten at least 5 different brands and they are all the same. That being said, it is the only sweetener I use on Keto. It has virtually no impact on blood sugar as it is almost completely not digestible. Taste-wise it does not have the bitter/odd aftertaste if Splenda/Stevia/Aspartame. It is only about 70% as sweet as sugar so you might need to use a bit more. While not noticeable in coffee, if you make fudge or brownies with it (and to less extent cheesecake) it has a bit of a ‘cooling’ feeling when you eat it. Other than that it is identical to sugar. Well one other thing: it does not dissolve like sugar does, so if texture is important (cakes/brownies/fudge) you want confectioners version rather than regular granular version as it will make the texture grainy.

Fits my dietary requirements. Very powdery so be sure to wipe up properly to avoid ants. The only drawback was the ‘ziplock’ seal could not seal well so I had to store it in a bigger Ziplock bag.

I love that this is a healthy alternative to powdered sugar. It is not as sweet as regular powdered sugar, I would use a little more than you usually would. I bought this because I discovered that the sweetener is a healthier alternative to powdered sugar, doesn't create cavities and is much lower in calories without messing with the blood sugar. I made a light cake with this , It turned out really good but I would suggest using at least double the amount you would in place of normal powdered sugar. Overall I love this product, it looks just like powdered sugar, much healthier on the body. Whatever your weight goals are, even just maintaining your weight and your teeth health, this is a great product. I will continue to buy this product, I just wish it didn't come in a plastic packaging but it's hard to find packaging that is equal friendly nowadays without it being extremely expensive!
