Time to face reality. I have dry, sensitive skin. But with the big 5-0 rapidly approaching, I also have 'mature' skin as well. (I can't believe how quickly time flies!) Medipharma's Olive Oil Intensive cream is geared towards those with sensitive, mature skin. The cream is a pretty, light pink shade. Its easy to apply to skin; a little goes a long way. The first time I tried the cream, I went to bed 45 minutes after applying it. It still hadn't entirely absorbed at that point though I didn't know it because the cream didn't weigh heavily or leave a greasy feeling. I only realized it hadn't fully absorbed when I touched my cheek and felt it. By morning, it had fully absorbed. This is definitely a cream to use before bed. And its a good nighttime cream! Its packed with vitamins, nourishing oils and a particular ingredient I happen to love...hyaluronic acid. It moisturizes and softens even the driest skin. Brings relief to the patches of eczema I sometimes experience. I've not yet noticed a change in elasticity but I've not used the cream very long. There is a mild scent. I'm not a huge fan of it but it fades quickly so scent isn't an issue for me. I recommend this cream for those with mature, sensitive skin. I urge you to not let the fact that absorption isn't quick deter you from trying it. Not sure if the absorption timeframe is because it absorbs deeply into the skin and takes some time to get in down deep, but it WILL absorb fully. I have very dry, mature skin and I like rich, heavy night creams. They're hard to find. I want something that stays on my face for a while and slowly absorbs. When I wake up, I want my skin to feel dewy and well hydrated. This cream is a light pink color and smells like roses. I hate the scent of fake roses but this scent isn't too strong so I can handle it. Other than the scent, it is wonderful. It is very rich and thick and stays on my face hydrating it for a while then absorbs and keeps my face very dewy but not oily or greasy. I could never wear this as a day cream but, at night, it works wonders. I would give it 5 stars easily if the scent were not rose. If it had no scent or just soapy type, I would absolutely adore it. As it is, I love it and probably will buy more despite the scent I don't' like. It's very, very good. It is NOT for those who want a lighter cream or who have oily skin. But if you have dry skin, this cream is amazing. This is the first skin care product I have tried that was made in Germany and I am eager to try more from this brand.

A pretty pale pink moisture cream that is ideal for dry skin. My combination skin loves this, but I do reserve it for those days when I crave a little more moisturization. Of course, I have more and more of those days as time goes on. This cream does a good job at moisturizing the skin and making it feel wonderfully soft and smooth. Once it sets, it does not leave my skin feeling oily nor greasy. Just barely a slight hint of creaminess that keeps it protected all day. It's not messy at all. In fact, it feels nice and clean and my skin feels more supple and elastic. There is a bit of a scent to this moisture cream. Some may not like it, but it's not something I find to be bothersome. It's a little bit sweat smelling, yet not too much so. That scent will dissipate after the cream sets in. Those with fragrance issues might not like this. For the rest of us, I find it to be a pleasant aromatherapy treat while treating my skin. Best used by those with normal to dry skin. Good also for combination skin. Also good for all age groups.

When I first opened this beautiful cream the memories of my grandmother flooded over me it a absolutely lovely manner. It is a traditional scent that I remember well from long ago. It is a rose scent, but more of an old-fashioned rose scent and not what I’m used to from a fresh rose hydrosol. Some people will adore the scent. It is fairly strong, so if you love that classic scent, you will love how this makes your body smell. It will be especially delightful before bedtime to smooth you to sleep. Even rub a little into your feet for extra comfort and relaxation. It is beautiful in a very classical worldly way. It goes on smooth and some of that is because it does carry a bit of Dimethicone within the ingredients. Dimethicone is a silicone used in a lot of cosmetics. It is safe to use, although I am not thrilled with the idea. I wish they would have avoided the use of that in this product. I don’t believe it is a heavy burden of Dimethicone since it is further down in the ingredient list. If you are a lover of the roses of yesteryear, you will adore this product and cherish it by your bedside. So wonderful to relax the mind and sooth your soul. I think the pricing is reasonable and you will be full of joy if this is the type of cream you are searching for on Amazon.

I have very dry skin, but usually shy away from creams because they tend to clog my pores. Winter and summer months compound the problem. I was hesitant to try this product because there isn’t a complete ingredient list found on the Amazon product page. The description did mention the inclusion of olive oil, and my face responds well to that, so I gave this intensive cream a try. I’m so glad I did—this has been a wonderful solution for dry skin with added benefits—I wake up to a hydrated, soft face that has better skin tone, no dryness and no skin irritation. This smells nice and moisturizes wonderfully—five stars for an economically priced night cream that leaves my face feeling and looking its best. Ich nutze die Creme schon einige Jahre und bin sehr zufrieden. Kann ich sehr empfehlen, auch für ältere Haut. Die Haut wird gut versorgt und kann sich in der Nacht erholen. Für trockene Haut geeignet!
