It’s hearty
If you are a meat and potatoes person and work late too tired for take out or delivery (or not in a delivery area like me), I am very happy to pop this in the microwave while I take a shower. Eat it with a glass of wine and then fall into bed. You don’t need to add anything to jazz it up. It is what it is and if you take it for what it is it’s delicious. Absolutely the best survival food I’ve eaten. Big portion no fuss and it’s there when you need it.

QUICK, TASTY, FILLING MEAL.
This meal heats up very quickly. One does need a sharp knife to open the sealed top. I ate it directly out of the container it came in and it was truly filling with a piece of Challah Bread to soak up the gravy. Very flavorful, but not too salty. I also had a fresh green salad with it so it really was a complete meal. I will definitely purchase these meals again to keep on hand for times when I can't get out of the house to buy fresh food, to enjoy a "restaurant style" meal without fussing over it myself, or if I am short on time and just have enough time to toss together a salad and cut some bread. In addition, these meals have a long shelf life so they are good to keep around in a pinch or if you are going somewhere and are not sure about where you will be able to eat.

Beef stew good, stuffed cabbage not so much...
I ordered both the Beef Goulash (which is more correctly described as stew, not goulash) and the stuffed cabbage. Honestly, I was afraid I was going to hate both of them, so I was happily surprised to find that the "goulash" was reasonably good. Very heavy on the potatoes, but still, reasonably tasty and hearty. A very satisfying lunch for work during Passover, easy to transport, heat, no worries about dishes, etc. Would/will definitely buy again. Unfortunately, the stuffed cabbage not so much. Which made me very sad because 1) I was hungry and 2) I was really hoping to like it since stuffed cabbage is a favorite of mine. Alas, this just didn't do it for me. It wasn't dry, in fact, it was swimming in sauce. But the meat was kind of a funny texture and the flavor wasn't to my taste. I ate the one I heated because I was very hungry but I think I will either donate or toss the other.

It’s no longer good. I will not trust it again.
It so overcooked, the potatoes are mushy. I can’t describe the chicken. I couldn’t eat it. There was an orange piece of mush in it that may have been a carrot at one time. From the taste, I cannot say for sure it was carrot. The flavor was still adequate, so I dumped the bad. Tasting chicken and added beef hot dog to the potatoes to at least get a meal out of it.

Surprisingly good for shelf stable meals
My wife has many food allergies, and I try to keep a few days of shelf-stable food around in case of emergency. Since I have no food issues, I have lots of options. My wife does not. I've been trying out options for her (she wants emergency food, but isn't that thrilled about searching for options). So, I order this and tried it. I think this is fairly expensive, but you get what you pay for. I can eat Completes, but the beef choices only slightly resemble beef. I tried the Beef Goulash version of this shelf-stable meal - it contained actual pieces of meat. The taste was pretty good too. I will be buying more for her and will try other options from the same brand. It's definitely nothing fancy, but for shelf-stable food, this is fairly high-end.

Do not freeze!
I was skeptical of a product that says it needs. no refrigeration til 2027. I ummediately froze it for a couple weeks. finally yesterday I tried it. As per the instructions, I used the microwave 9blech or hot plate would take far too long. unfortunately the meat came out overcooked so I cant speak for the flavor yet. It smelled like frozen food. I will give it another try, because the certification is reliable OU/Passover. If it is indeed something edible, It's a great find for trips, work and especially during passover Chol hamoed (the in between days of passover). Also its Gluten free and has 29 grams of protein and only 290 calories (its small). Its 17grams of carbs , of which are mostly the vegtables, If you are on a low carb/ keto diet, remove the potatoes i cant promise you wont break ketosis but you wont break passover or kosher which is way more important!!!

As Expected!
Like I mentioned for another item of the same, but just a little different, seeing as how I have lots of friends who are of the Jewish religion that like to visit me, I try to make sure I have plenty of these on hand. I find them quite tasty myself, which presents that problem of making sure to have them on hand for my friends... lol 😂
