How is this stuff REAL????????
Oh my gosh, get it NOW!!! It's stunning, flawless. It stays on throughout the day, even if it gets wet. In order for it to come off after getting wet, you have to manually pull it off with a cloth or your clean fingers. AND when you DO pull it off, it comes off in these tube, string looking things. This mascara does NOT smudge at ALL, EVER. I reccommend the amplified over the original if you want your lashes to look thicker, but not clumpy. The original is I think a bit lighter and maybe runnier so it covers eye individual lash lightly, but you can still layer it. The amplified is not too much and not too little. I'm dirty blonde and I prefer the black, but if my hair was lighter (honey blonde, strawberry blonde, light blonde, or red headed) I would go for the brown if I wanted to look very natural. but like I said, this isn't too thick and it paints each individual eyelash without clumping, so even the black would probably look natural on you unless you have light blonde hair. The best part is it tubes around to the top, so those of us with light colored lashes no longer have to worry about that ugly two shaded lash look where its dark on the bottom and light on the top. Its just AMAZING stuff and I can't reccomend it enough. It lasts me a year, though I left one bottle in my hot car for too long and it dried. So definitely keep it out of the heat for long periods of time.

Perfect Mascara EVER
Tired of using any special make up removers at the end of a 12 hour work day? Start with changing your mascara to Blinc. This is the EASIEST mascara to remove. I have unfortunately long and straight thick based eyelashes that quickly taper to a long barely visible point. All other mascaras I have tried, which have been MANY, tend to clump, apply unevenly, weigh down the artificial curling from my eyelash curler, or won't last beyond 2-4 hours without "shedding." When I find one that does survive these factors, it requires an unholy concoction of chemicals to remove (with a few eyelashes). Not Blinc. Things to know: *A fresh bottle lasts me nearly 8-10 months of 4-5 days per week use before it gets that sticky feeling at the end of my lashes. *It is NOT particularly thickening. While it helps with my thin ends due to having long lashes, it does not make them anymore thick than other mascaras. I do not use mascaras marketed for volumizing, so take that for what you will. *The applicator is this partly sinusoidal shape which doesn't do much to help with actually applying over other shapes. However, the applicator is wide enough with fronds long enough to get down to my bases without overapplying to my ends when multiple passes are needed--a huge plus. *If you have long eyelashes, apply quickly and with multiple coats so you get adequate tubing. If you stop part way and then restart later it could get sticky, clumpy, or apply strangely, even on a fresh bottle. *If you get it on anywhere you don't want, it's totally fine. Let it dry and then you can scratch it or push it off very easily with tweezers or a fingernail. It won't leave any black smudges! I have used this mascara for the past 3 years and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. It might not be for everyone but it's perfect even for those who have 5-8 minutes to put a full face of make up on in the morning.

RECEIVED, OLD USED PRODUCT!!
*This is a review of what was shipped to me, NOT of the product itself* I've been using this mascara since it was first called Kiss Me and imported from Japan, so for over 15 years. It's the only mascara I use. I certainly know all of the versions/packaging/appearances that have come out over the years. The CURRENT version should be a tube that is sealed full length with the perforations to peel and open. This sealed tube arrives inside a screw top aluminum cylinder. What I received was an unsealed tube in a small, worn, bent up cardboard box instead of the aluminum tube. Blinc has not distributed the mascara in the box in YEARS. For a second I thought maybe they were going back to the box, but I inspected the mascara itself (unsealed) and I believe not only was it old but that it had been used. The formula smelled funny and was watery. Back to Amazon it goes. I included a note in the packaging about this so it doesn't get thrown on a shelf and mailed out to someone else. I can't imagine where this old tube was hiding for them to pull it out, but the appearance alone of cruddy packaging should have been noticed before it was shipped out. As far as the REAL mascara goes... still love it. I'm not one to try and build up tarantula legs on my face, not sure this product will do that, but I have medium-long natural lashes and a couple quick swipes does the job. I don't have to touch my eyes for the rest of the day, removing it is as cinchy as they claim, and no racoon eyes or dusty little bits flaking off. From now on I'm going to go back and purchase from Blinc's own site. If someone not familiar with the product had received what I did they would have thought it was garbage, and rightly so. Additionally there is a high risk of infection when using old eye makeup. I'll wait the extra shipping time to be sure I get what I am paying for.

Best Tubing Mascara so Far. 5 stars with unexpected UPDATE
I've used tubing mascara for many years. I hate raccoon eyes, and removing waterproof mascara is a true pain; I can never get it all off and no matter which remover I used, I ended up with irritated eyelids. Tubing mascara has a tendency to dry out faster than regular mascaras, at least in those I've used. I've used the iconic Loreal Double Extend Tubing mascara, No. 7, NYX, and Elf. All will dry out quickly. All clumped to a certain extent, and all flaked a bit. I want a tubing mascara that flows on, doesn't start to dry out after the third use, and doesn't flake. It may be the native formulation of tubing mascara that it starts to dry out quickly; I'll accept it. But, I really dislike flaking. I've just received the Blinc, who BTW, pioneered tubing technology. This is day 5 of use. By day 5, the other tubing mascaras started drying out slightly. So far, Blinc has not. That's a huge plus since the little clumps are caused by drying out. So far, so good. I'm 62 1/2 years old. My eyelashes are blond to begin with, but they aren't replaced as quickly as they fall out as you age. My lashes used to touch my eyelids (a pain in the arse, because they always left mascara on my eyelids). They're sparse compared to my youth. Without mascara, they're invisible. I need a mascara that will add volume as well as length. So, I chose this formulation of Blinc. What you see in the photo, is 1 coat of Blinc on my upper lashes, and a very light, quick, swipe, of the tip of the applicator, on my bottom lashes. I have a very minimal underlining of shadow under my lower lashes, and no eyelining or shadow lining on my upper lashes. This is my daily makeup routine. It's a minimal look with just enough makeup to make my eyes show up. The Blinc goes on smoother than any tubing mascara I've tried. It certainly lasts, although like other tubing mascaras, if I get wet and it's warm, the tube will come off. Expect this with all tubing mascaras; they're formulated to be removed with warm water. The tubes started coming off when I wash and sealed the clear coat on my brand new car, in 82° heat. I was sweating, and it started sprinkling. So, warm + water = removal! I'm not docking stars for this. It's what we all want, albeit preferably in the shower. I've not noticed any increase in clumps since opening the tube. So far, it's not starting to dry out. By this time, even though I'm always careful about replacing the wand and closing the tube very quickly, I've noticed the beginning of drying out in the other brands I've tried. The only thing I've noticed is a small amount of flaking. While I really dislike flaking, especially while I wear contact lenses, so far Blinc has the least amount. It's probably in direct proportion to the dryness of the formula. I'll update if this changes. Compared with the other tubing mascaras I've tried, Blinc is far superior. It earns a 4 1/2 star rating (docking 1/2 for minimal flaking). I'll round up to 5 stars. UPDATE: Well, I've just written the initial review and I'm updating to a full 5 stars. I've been dragging 20, 40 lb bags of soil in and out of the cat, then blocking out the place for my eventual garage. I'm hot, tired, and sweating a ton. It's good and warm outside. Note that the Blinc, which I applied 5 hours ago, hasn't budged. There are no tunes laying on my face, nor is it flaking. I honestly didn't expect this. I would have tubes all round my eyes from the other mascaras. This is a definite keeper.

What I think
I am reviewing this based off of what the product promises to do. It is easy to apply. I use an oil based 'rice oil' korean make up remover product and I just take a cotton pad and apply a little more extra time to my eyes. I only apply one coat because I don't like the thin/spider lash look. If you are going for that then yes, I think this mascara will certainly give length but you lose a lot in volume. How does it lengthen? it seems to just attach to the lashes and build upon itself, not your eyelash--kind of weird sounding, but that's prbs why it is so hard to remove. Because you have something attached to your actual eyelash. I do think it lengthens them a bit, but I have generally accepted that no product will be able to make up for having very short eye lashes unless you apply falsies. And that's fine with me. I think this product gives me enough of a pop that I like it, but it's subtle enough that I think only other women might notice it, or maybe a make up artist [guys don't really notice the small details]. Would I purchase this again? I don't know. If I could afford it, yes. But if I am on a budget, then maybe not. What do I ADORE about this product? It is smudge proof. Every mascara I have tried has always given me little smudges beneath my eyes, and I only recent learned the difference between smudge proof and water proof. I don't get that at ALL which is the reason why I bought this. I have no idea what people mean when they say they felt like their eyelashes were coming off. I thought I would be entertained as I removed it but it just sort of crumbles off in little pieces. And it does NOT look like eyelashes to me. Maybe I need to apply more?? Anyways, that's what I think. Again, it will give you great length but you lose volume and get very thin eyelashes, not the full ones. Not my style. And it is smudgeproof.

In the Blinc of an eye I moved on
I have had a love/hate relationship with Blinc mascara for years. Love the concept and the tubing, which is easy to remove and overall long lasting without smudging or darkening under my eyes. What I struggle with is the sticking together of lashes during application given the wetness of the product. Even with a light hand the brush just doesn't seem to separate lashes to avoid clumping. I've investigated and found great results with Loreal's Telescopic Lift, given its unique, stable and two-sided brush design for lengthening and separating lashes. And the cost can't be beat. If you can master the Blinc process, you will be pleased but in time potentially also question the value of the product vs. its cost.

The OG tubing mascara, I'm a fan for life
I've been wearing Blinc for about seven years now. I think there was a recent formula change that makes it take a bit longer to "set." The cons of that is that if you so much as blink before it "sets," you're getting it all over your under-eye. The pro, however, is that now you have time to layer it a bit and really get it all up in your lashes, before it "sets" and dries. (By the way, even if you get it all over your under eye, it brushes off so easily without streaking that it's not a big deal at ALL). I've tried all the versions of Blinc and slightly prefer the one that has the smaller brush (I have tiny wimpy lashes). But all versions are life-changing to me. It took me a bit to get used to tubing mascara in the beginning, but I love the following things. - You can remove this mascara with a bit of warm water and a pinch of your fingers. I literally put my fingers in some warm water and gently "pull off" the mascara. - But by some dark magic, it doesn't come off when your eyes water, when you put drops in your eyes, when you cry, or when you get steam on your face. (Lots of time in the hot tub and aggressively rubbing my eyes due to an allergy attack does take it off, but that's about it.) I have allergies. I have watery eyes. So trust that I have put this mascara through the wringer. - It really does stay put. Every single other mascara on the market (including 24-hour wear stuff) flakes and starts giving me raccoon eyes by the end of the night. A few really "High-end" regular mascaras work for me, but they're 3x as expensive as Blinc. - This mascara takes punishment. I do martial arts and grappling, and it tolerates a lot of sweat and abuse. And, once it does start coming off, it just kind of slides off, so you can brush off the little tubes from your face without leaving black streaks. The ONLY con is that Blinc isn't super "volumising." It lengthens a bit and darkens your lashes, but if you want that volumising, thick "falsies" look, look elsewhere. However, Blinc is perfect for everyday wear.

Hands down the best mascara I've ever tried
I was pleasantly surprised by this mascara. I purchased it based on the recommendation of a friend and I'm glad I spent extra for BLINC. I have had no issues with the liquid splattering out like some users mentioned. When I asked my friend if she'd ever experienced this she said she had not either. The way everybody describes "tubes" on your lashes did NOT match what I envisioned. I thought this hard little tubes would literally slide off your lashes that you could hold and examine. This is not at all the case. To remove the mascara, you only use warm water and gently rub your lashes. This causes the mascara tubes to get wet and soft turning it a bit like slimy feathers that just clump together and come right off in one good rub of the eyelashes. You just dump them down the drain (I hope it's OK for my drain!), but maybe they should be dumped into the trash bin? I don't know. There is ZERO residue after removing the mascara. ZERO chance of having raccoon eyes later. It truly is amazing. I do have to say, however, that some tiny "shreds" can still end up on your upper cheeks after a long day, especially if you're an eye rubber, like me. It doesn't make raccoon eyes, but some flakes can still end up on your face, which took me by surprise as I didn't see any other reviewers mention that. Pro Tip: apply one coat of mascara to entire set of lashes (you can even do lower lashes with this mascara!). Wait 30 seconds and take a dry cotton swab (Q-tip) and rub off any mascara that you accidentally got onto your skin (I usually manage to get mascara onto my lids whenever I apply it). No need to wet it or reapply eyeshadow after wiping off excess mascara with a Q-tip. It wipes right off without any smudging. Second Pro Tip: don't use eye makeup remover. It's completely unnecessary and you'll still have to use the warm water technique afterwards anyway. It's so easy to remove, but amazingly stays on when you don't want it to come off! While you only get one type of lashes - your own, but slightly thicker and longer - this is good enough for me. If you're expecting feathered lashes or whatever crazy style of eyelashes other mascara brands promise, you won't get that with BLINC. BLINC simply takes your own lashes and makes them appear longer, thicker, darker. No other crazy promises. All mascara should be made this way. I cannot recommend this mascara highly enough.
