Barbie Big City, Big Dreams Singing Barbie “Malibu” Roberts Doll (11.5-Inch Blonde) with Music, Light-Up Feature, & Accessories, Gift for 3-7 Years, GYJ21

I bought this as a Christmas gift and it was excellent value for money and just as pictured however, the doll stopped singing properly in February after only two months. Its a little disappointing. I'm updating this review as a quick change of batteries and the item is back at full working order. The doll is bright and colourful and comes with a mike stand, microphone and guitar, my daughter loves it.

Ordered this Barbie for my youngest granddaughter.

Got this for my god-daughter, I was slightly annoyed it didn't come with a warning tho...yes you should dream big and aim for the stars and the allure of the big city is hard to resist...however 99.99% of people get nowhere near that kind of thing so I also purchased an introduction to Accounting and some sensible shoes in the name if balance and actual likely job prospects.

My daughter originally received Brooklyn Barbie for her Birthday and loved the fact she sings and her dress lights up! We discovered that she was from a Barbie Film- Big City, Big Dreams which she loved watching and that we could get her Malibu Barbie to match! Dolls sing parts from 2 songs from the film each, 1 of which is the same, "see you at the finish line." If you time it right, they harmonise together well and look fab with their light up dresses. Accessories (as usual with Barbie) are fun, especially the guitars, microphones with stands and headsets!

After reading a few reviews moaning about the fact that Barbie doesn't sing 2 songs ( as stated) but only a couple of lines, I was about not to order it and that would had been a big mistake. The doll will indeed sing a couple of lines in test mode but once is properly activated she will sing 2 songs . The doll is very well made and comes with many accessories. I got it on deal and paid it only £15 very good value for money. My daughter loves it and I highly recommend it.

I have brought this for a Christmas present, so don't 100% know what it's like yet. But in general barbies dolls are of good quality. Plus this was the cheapest place to buy at the time of purchase....Bonus!

Another Barbie with a Millie face that is becoming too annoying already. I ordered it because it goes with the set - the beautiful dark skin companion and the car, otherwise I would have left it. This face repeats itself endlessly and you can only have this much of it, especially with the playline that will be (usually) increasing in numbers as your child progresses through the Barbie stage. This doll has a torso with a painted-on swimsuit that has dots lightening up. The sound is quite a good quality. The doll is beautifully made and has this lovely tiny guitar (which is just another piece of plastic, though). Overall, this doll is ok for an enthusiast, but I, personally, do not like the mechanics part of it. Children lost interest in it quite soon, too.
