The fabric is a really cute design, BUT the fabric is low quality and the stitching is low quality and I do not expect it to last very long. The fabric is sort of shiny or has a shiny finish that feels like nylon or a waterproof rain jacket. I prefer something softer like cotton especially for a bed. The sheets from the same set/maker are the same nylon-like fabric. In addition, the quilt is super thin. I have warm climate so that is ok for me, but it looks more like a $20 quilt. Yes this is good for a kids room, but I don't expect it to last more than a few washes but since this is for my visiting grandkids it might work out. If I get more than 3 washes out of it, I will update this with more favorable comments, but my first impression is not good. :-(
