Replace the chain and rear bearings and it's indestructible
Things you should know: 1. This was delivered by Saia LTL freight and required me to call in to schedule an appointment for delivery. They don't want to run a big truck into your neighborhood and drop off a 300 pound crate without you being there. Amazon doesn't do this for you. It seems like it will not be delivered if you don't take the initiative to reach out to Saia. 2. Assembly wasn't too hard. It comes mostly assembled and has a small toolkit. Getting the thing out of the steel crate was the tough part. You'll need some power tools (drill and power ratchet) to make the assembly go faster. It's bolted to a steel frame and has steel wires holding it in place as well. 3. Look for parts on the ground or in the box and make sure everything is tight. I had the rear brake pad fall out onto the floor. Fortunately I caught it and fixed it before it was driven. I'm mechanically inclined and was able to figure out how to fix it on my own. The brake piston would have chewed into the brake rotor with the missing brake pad. Not sure why it fell out since it's not easy to get back in. 4. Make sure the charger is plugged in all the way if you want it to charge. The light is green when the charger is on (and unplugged) or plugged in but fully charged. Light turns red when charging the batteries. I had a problem with it not charging but that's because you really have to push the thing into the socket really well to make a connection. Update Dec 2024: The chain and the rear bearings are garbage from the factory and only lasted a few rides. However, once you replace the chain with a high performance motorcycle chain (JT Chain JTC420HDR120SL 420 Series) and replace the rear bearings with PGN 6004-2RS Bearings, this thing can really take a beating, and for a long time. My son literally jumps this thing off of ramps, drifts it on pavement, and drives it as hard as he can all the time and the new bearings and chain haven't had to be replaced since the upgrade years ago. The original batteries however began to swell after a few months and I had to replace them. I originally tried lithium battery replacements for more power and lighter weight but those turned out to be a nightmare because they all have chips and electronics in them that fail quickly and if one fails, the whole circuit fails and you're left trying to figure out which battery is having issues. I suggest staying with SLA batteries as a replacement because of their simplicity. The company has a website with replacement parts which is nice if you need them but buy a real motorcycle chain and quality bearings elsewhere.

Sturdy ride
Granddaughter absolutely loves this! Pleasantly surprised with quality and detail of construction. Packagaeing was done well. Assembly was fairly smooth. Only complaint was awkwardness of delivery. It has only run a couple of hours so far with no problems. Hopefully it will go for many more! Update! After 30 days and maybe 5 or 6 charges the battery charger has failed. Waiting for a response from the supplier.

GREAT GO KART!!!!!
This was better than I expected!! I got it for my daughter for her 11th Birthday. It's fast, goes great through the grass or on the pavement, lasts long, and is so quiet compared to other go karts. Sounds so cool! We had the bearings in the front fail pretty quickly, but the manufacturer sent me the parts immediately, and it's been running great ever since. I'm planning on getting one of these for my nephew. The directions are a little sketchy, but assembly was straightforward.. The steering kinda sucks, but I retrofitted a steering yoke from a Tesla Model S and she says it's so much easier to control. There just isn't a lot of travel, so a small round wheel is more difficult to use. I put some mirrors on it for her, and am planning on putting some lights next. Super fun little go kart. I did a lot of research, and for a real, functional off road, electric, kart with actual suspension.. this is what I decided on and I couldn't be happier so far with the product, or the customer service. Even with the issues, these guys nailed it. 👌

Awesome
Purchased this for my 5 year old and had a hard time trying to figure out which Hilary to buy. Went with this one and so far it’s great. I thought it had a way to control the speed like a lock do it doesn’t go over a certain speed but it does not. My husband put on a governor?/ something to control it so it can only go 5 mph. The mud monster was easy to put together and took about 2-3 hrs. The seat belt should be a five point harness but is instead a flimsy lap belt. The main complaint we have is that it rolls back easily when going up a hill and you put your foot on the break. My property is all hills so it’s very noticeable. We read a lot about the ball bearings going out and are expecting that problem any day now as we reach the 4 week period but so far everything works, it rides smoothly, handles grass gravel hills etc on our farm, we do keep it under cover and are super cautious about it getting wet/ going through puddles. Overall very happy with it, my son loves it, and I feel it is safe.

Electric go kart
My daughter loves riding this around the yard slow is a good speed but still seems a little fast for starting but she got the hang of it pretty quickly. Also I only put 4 star cause you immediately need to change the bearings for the rear. When I say immediately I mean while your assembling.

Kids Love It Plenty Fast
Great fun no issues with shipping or item before using it recommend you upgrade the battery strap as the included straps wear out with all the boiluncing to much and you risk the battery falling out and riping the cord off ordered a replacement with no issues after

Best cart ever!
Cart was a great surprise! It seems very durable, has good power and speed… 11yo boy is large for it but fits fine… I even drove it at 6’1” 230lb! Time will tell on how it holds up, but two thumbs up at this point!

Complete Junk
First the package arrived damaged. Nuts and bolts poured out upon opening packaging. The owners manual is useless. It does not show how to assemble the go cart and it does not show how to charge the battery. The go cart barely turns. Parts were bent, nuts and bolts were missing. The manufacturer is clueless. My 14 year old son is normal height and skinny and he barely fits. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
