NRSVCE, Illustrated Catholic Bible, Leathersoft, Black, Comfort Print: Holy Bible Imitation Leather – Illustrated, August 17, 2021

This Bible is gorgeous, and I absolutely love the space available for notes, as well as the single column text. Dimensions are just right for carrying it around, it’s very lightweight, and the cover is pretty durable. The pictures are very unique—adding much life to the text—and I find the NRSV translation to read nicely. There are some maps and cross references at the end, but if you are looking for a Bible abundant in footnotes, this isn’t the one for you. I have no issue looking to the internet for context, so I didn’t mind. Also, the pages are very very thin, so notes are only possible if using pencil, pen will easily bleed through. Overall, this Bible is unique and aesthetically pleasing with fairly large text (easy on the eyes). I included an example of what the typical page looks like, and my hand for size reference.

Beautiful! I love the cover, the pages. It’s a large bible and the illustrations are very nice. I feel closer to god already by having this in my home. It also contains a brief history of the NRSV publication. I think it’s well worth the price. Can’t put a price on salvation, really.

This is my first Catholic Bible as I am in OCIA currently. It truly is beautiful but not too beautiful you don’t want to open it. It’s large and not a bible I will take out of the house but it’s a perfect family Bible. The paper feels soft buttery smooth, love the font it’s readable with good leading space. Not much ghosting, you won’t be distracted by words peeking through on the other pages. The pictures are cool to see what the imagery was like back in the 16th century. I love the single column it makes reading it easier on the eyes.

Ughhhh it’s so cute! I’m so glad I came across this specific gem 💗. It’s not small at all. I would say it’s the size of an average Bible. Definitely recommend! 💞🎀☺️

I will always hold this bible near and dear to my heart. It’s so beautiful. I love how the sections have subjects above them. It makes it easy to understand and keeps the reading interesting. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful bible!! Love the layout of the text and the images. Easy to read and I’m not squinting to differentiate between lines and words. Such a nice reading experience. Hefty book, but I love it!4 stars because it arrived with the back pages damaged and ripped :/ production mess up maybe? These things happen, but still disappointing for brand new bible I want to have for a long time.
