Fantastic Lure for Nighttime Bass Action! Rating: ★★★★★ I’ve been using the Arbogast Jointed Jitterbug for a few weeks now, and it has quickly become my go-to lure for night fishing. The white/red head color combination is perfect for low-light conditions, and the jointed design creates an enticing swimming action that bass can’t resist. I’ve had success catching multiple bass, including some decent-sized ones, using this lure. The 2 1/2" size and 3/8 oz weight make it easy to cast and control, even in slightly windy conditions. The signature Jitterbug “plop-plop” sound is loud enough to attract fish from a distance without being overpowering. The lure is also durable and has withstood several aggressive strikes without any noticeable wear. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but considering its effectiveness, I’d say it’s worth every penny. Highly recommended for anyone looking to up their topwater game, especially for nighttime or early morning fishing.

Unless you troll with this lure, I find the hooks get tangled when casting, otherwise lure works

jointed jitterbug lures i use at night for bass. as bass anglers know-when the water conditions are right its a great lure. only downfall to this lure is these two hooks get caught up on eachother all the time. i always change out one or both hooks to a lil smaller size. in the dark its frustrateing untangleing hooks!

Old school lure, works great! Along with Daredevils and Goldfish lures, Jitterbugs are the foundation of my tackle box here in Maine. Unless I'm fly fishing, I don't need or want to use anything else!

The only problem with this lure is that the hooks are slightly too big and constantly get hooked together… not ideal for a nighttime fishing lure. I’ve done the hard work for you and found the maximum size hook that won’t get stuck on itself! just use some pliers and open up the eyes and switch the original hooks out for some size 6 trebles. I think it looks pretty cool too hope this helps someone as I couldn’t find this info anywhere else!

It don’t catch any fish, but hey, I like it. If I’m going to be not catching fish you might as well enjoy the way you do it.
