Great rice from the microwave!Good quality product!Wash the rice first.Then 1 part rice to two parts cold water.(Cooking for me alone I measure half a mug of rice/1 mug water).I add a teaspoon of lemon juice and pinch of salt to taste.Ensure lid is on tight with the vent open.Microwave: White rice, 5 minutes full power, then 15 minutes half power. Brown rice, 10 minutes full power then 20 minutes half power. Then let the rice stand in the bowl a further 5 minutes before serving.
