my v fussy chihuahua ate this with gusto.... she has developed burping wind and groaning tummy ache, ended up at vets .... I'm going to slow her eating down with a ball in the food or a special dish. Vets suggested she return to her chicken n rice but I can't always have that ready. I cook it in big batches whilst she slavers at kitchen door (invisible barrier to stop her coming in). I'm going to mix the 2. Coz she loves it and it's easy to put in freezer. I defrost it the old fashioned way... get half a roll out, put it in a cut-,off plastic drinks bottle... fill with COLD water just to below top .. leave 2 hours or so. I'm impressed BUT oh it's so expensive!!! The glass tube to keep it 5 days in fridge works well, no smell leaks. Chopping board with dogs head design on it also useful, just for her food . All in all, an expensive way to feed your pet, but you know it's 100% chicken... but WARNING!!! if your dog is prone to having blocked anal glands, vet said to mix this with lightly cooked carrot chopped up. Coz it's soft so won't help yr dog expell anal glands in the normal way - i.e. with each poo. BUT if I'm cooking carrot, may as well cook rice. peas n turkey or chicken bits. Round in a circle I go. If anyone has any suggestions to help my sickly dog (due largely to anal glands being over full) then I'd so appreciate it.

The purchase arrived incomplete but one message to the seller and this was VERY quickly rectified indeed! As for the meat itself, I cannot comment on this but will give you the dog's feedback, "wasn't keen on this and only had one bit of what my Dad put in my bowl. He is good at this as I can't do it by myself! He left it sitting for a wee while and then took it away and gave me some Cesar, which I ate later on. I'm known as a fussy wee devil when it comes to what I'll eat but at 13 years old, I think that they allow this plus we have this heat to contend with and I don't feel like eating when it's so warm, don't you find that?". Will try again once the weather breaks and the temperatures are more normal.

Loved the storage container and board and more importantly my dog ate every last bit of the food so I will be ordering again. Thank you

Once I read the ingredients I realised the 100% natural ingredients doesn't totally ring true. Yes the chicken is supposedly proper chicken and not mealBut how natural flour is and cranberry powder to dogs hmmmmmNot sure brown rice is ideal either as can put weight on.If this had proper ingredients to mix with the chicken and was more raw ( its not its consistency of very manufactured dog food not raw) then yes but for the price I don't think its what Jr's made out to be. Which is a shame.

Well presented taster pack. My dog ate the first bowl then continued to reject it. Wasn't crazy about the smell and the glass (yes glass ) tube got mucky quite quickly. It is personal taste with dogs and nothing wrong with the product which is a great idea and alternative. Foxes had a lovely tea and I have a neat pets chopping board and a tall container which takes a kilo of rice !

I couldn’t get my dog to eat much at all he was very fussy. But since he’s been on fresh pet food it’s value for money and he loves the taste

My 12 month old Cavachon loves this food and eats it all straight away, but has suddenly developed pink tear stains and I'm sure it's down to the pets love fresh food. It's the only thing I have changed and clean her eyes daily. She had bright white fur before purchasing this food. So I'm dubious to purchase again unfortunately.
