My dad has been on the hunt for something to give him a bit more energy lately, so I ordered these with him in mind. I decided to be the guinea pig first to see if anything would actually happen and below is my full experience thus far. I received these Monday the 16th and by the time I took the first half of a bottle I had already been awake for 18hours. I figured being on the verge of when normal people would be getting ready to sleep would be a perfect trial for this. The taste is a bit medicinal but fruity and still surprisingly pretty easy to shoot back. Within the first 15 minutes I noticed I did feel more awake than I was before I took it, but I wasn't highly alert or "all hopped up on Mountain Dew" and bouncing off the walls. I went back to working on the project I was doing before I took it and noticed that maybe about 4 hours in I was starting to feel sleepy for a moment, but realized it was simply do to my posture while I was sitting, once I adjusted I was back to the same level I had prior. I have a bad habit that it doesn't matter how awake I am, if I find just that perfect little spot/level of comfort I'll pass out lol. About 3-4 more hours later I decided to give the other half a shot to see if it would do anything or if I'd finally pass out. I stayed awake.... All in all I managed to stay up for 38 hours before finally decided to fall asleep, 20 hours of it was due to the shot. Caving on sleep was definitely allowing myself to get too comfortable again in how I was sitting or I think I would've still stayed up had I gotten up and moved to work on something else. I ended up drifting off peacefully instead of crashing hard or feeling super sleepy and deciding to go to bed. It was a lovely solid 12 hours of sleep though lol. While taking it I never experienced any headaches, nausea, jitters, or over active energy or high alertness. It was a nice even keeled experience that let me continue working like I wanted, like keeping a smidge above a good midday energy level for the entire day instead of just wanting a nap every 3 hours lol. When I slept I felt peaceful and out solid instead of tossing a lot like I do, when I woke up I experienced no grogginess. With things like G-Fuel I noticed an over active amount of energy for awhile and alertness, but it would be sorta short lived and then the come down felt a little harsher. I would also start to feel icky after a bit either with a headache or an upset stomach because I might have consumed too much simply because I liked the taste or because I thought it would give me another boost. Taking straight B12 after awhile has no real effect for energy levels but at least I know I'm topped off there I guess. It's nice that this has a small mix of good vitamins with the B12. Weird to say, but it's nice to find something without taurine in it, can't hear the comment about drinking the inappropriate parts of a bull anymore lol. I'll still have to see what it does for my dad, but at least for me it was a good product, thanks to it I got my project done! :D

Thought I was buying the 5 hour energy shots but didn’t realize until the order came through. The flavor isn’t the best but energy shots rarely taste good. Always have that chemical after tatse. But for the size and the price you can’t go wrong getting these energy shots with 260mgs of caffine. They give me more like 4 hours of energy compared to the 7 hours they claim but Iam an addict when it comes to energy drinks lol. Worth the buy and not bad at all

Effective but as one might expect from a sub premium brand, a little underwhelming.

I was convinced for a very long time that I could only use a certain kind of energy drink. After quite a bit of discussion with Gemini, I was informed that it was all in my head and that I should truly give this a try but that I had to tell myself repeatedly until I was convinced this will work. I gave it about a week, and I discovered that it is absolutely true! I keep these by my bedside and I open one in the morning and drink about a third of it and within 15 minutes I have the exact same effect as the name brand products had given me for years. It really was just in my head. A sort of placebo effect. I had to un-placebo myself and maybe re-placebo myself. Now I obviously haven't done any scientific studies on this, I do not have a doctorate degree. I just know my own personal anecdotal experience is that whether it's in your head or not, these work exactly the same as name brand. Maybe I need them maybe I've just convinced myself that I need them. Whatever the case may be, if I don't drink one of these in the morning I'm worthless. But within 15 minutes of drinking 1/3 of one of these energy shots, I am ready to go. Given that I am so picky and have convinced myself for so long that nothing works, for me to be convinced that these energy shots are effective I feel is high praise. I also like the fact that they are not a pain in the butt to get into, as some of these energy shots can be very difficult to find the little perforation that opens them. It's the little things that really get my attention. When it's difficult to get into an energy shot, that's an added irritation for me every single morning, first thing in the morning. But these pop right open and it may sound silly but then the plastic comes apart and a little line that circles all the way around the bottle over and over again until the plastic is all going and I'm left with a little spaghetti toy. The sound of this activity has trained my cat to have a pavlovian response to come running to me every morning looking for her "brand new" energy shot spaghetti toy. I hear the thunderous pitter-patter of her paws coming down the hallway at the first crack of the plastic, looking for her spaghetti morning toy. If that's not enough to start your day off right, you're broken and I don't know what to tell you.

In my opinion this not a two shot equivalent. It looks to me that it is the same as 5-Hour energy regular drinks. Maybe a tiny bit more but certainly NOT a double shot. The measure per serving is listed in Energy Shot as Niacin = 16mg per serving while 5-Hour = 30mg per serving; B6 Energy Shot = 1.7mg & B12 Energy Shot = 2.4mcg while 5-Hour B6 = 40mg & 5-Hour B12 = 500mcg. Something isn't right for this to be two doses. There is a warning about caffeine on the bottle, but I cannot any in the ingrediency. The 5-Hour bottle has 200mg caffeine written on the bottle. I have not drunk any but will but I think I will stay with my 5-Hour energy not much confidence for this Energy Shot.
