Just put it on my mitre saw and did some test cuts. It cuts pretty good. The thick kerf makes it very stiff. All my thin kerf blades flex with big compound mitre cuts and leave a less than impressive cut. This blade still leaves some very minor marks that may be due to the hungry 10 degree rake. Still, I knew it had that rake so I can't complain about that. What I can complain about is the fact that it is not 10" but 250mm. Not a big difference, but a difference none the less.

Great blade! Very sharp and cuts a glue line every time.

This Freud blade is phenomenal. I had read many reviews where customers were not happy with the finish left behind after completion of the cut. The Freud rating tree depicts the blade as moderate satisfaction for veneers on their comparison charts as well due to tooth rake. I have been framing a stretched canvas painting as a gift for our pastor. The frame material was 2 1/4" sloped walnut with inlaid marquetry on the entire length and the most expensive frame trim that I have ever bought. As a preliminary test I made an initial miter eliminating my normal process of using masking tape to protect the veneer. The blade produced a super smooth cut with no chipping of the marquetry and the miters joined up flawless. I finished out the entire frame without utilizing masking tape with a chip free perfect match up on the miters. Some of my cuts were less than a blade width thick as I matched up the lengths. I had zero issues with the blade and actually did not have to spend additional funds for a miter trimmer to shave the trim due to the smooth cuts. Even on a miter saw the primary issue with any tool is technique. Allowing the blade to remain down until it is done spinning is key for a smooth cut. The blade was accurate with zero burning and perfect accuracy. I have always loved Freud blades and bits. This further cements my loyalty to the Freud product line as my first choice when available. As a note: I returned the original blade because I accidentally ordered a 10" rather than a 12" blade. I ordered the correct 12" size immediately. You will not find a smoother saw blade,

Big difference when compared to using the blade that came with the table saw. I set the height of the blade about 1/2" above the wood and this thing ripped the board like butter. I was having issues with burning and resistance with my stock blade and this blade made a big difference everyone who has a table saw needs a thin ker rip blade
