Whiskers, a bad kitty, is also sometimes a moody kitty. I purchased this for her 97th birthday a long with a bounce house and some steak. She starts purring at me immediately because he/she/them knows that I did a good for the moody kitty. She now only scratches my shower curtains maybe like 7 times a day vs. maybe like 30 times a day. A great product. Just make sure your kitty does not fall asleep on top of the toy because she may fall on her noggin creating epilepsy so you will have to keep her away from light which is why my kitty now stays where he/she/them stays because of the ep.

My cats absolutely love it!! I do as well since it keeps them from clawing my couch!! I’ve bought other ones and my cats would have it tore up and the rope beginning to unravel within a few days or a week. This one has withstood them using it several times everyday for almost a month and they have barely even managed to make it look like it’s not brand new.

Cat enjoys it but the threads fall apart way too quickly. The green cactus shaped scratching post I bought never had the issue.

This is the second time I have bought this cat scratcher. It's sturdy, lasts for a long time and my cats love it. It took them almost a year to scratch it down. Great purchase !

This cat scratcher lasted me 5 months before I decided to replace it, and I’m going to reorder it! - this is the first time I’ve ever done thatThe price is great. The 34” is hard to find and tall enough for my 12 lb cat. The light colored sisal and light grey faux fur are aesthetic and soft. It’s sturdy and stable.

Hard to review. My cat loves these and I keep buying them as she won't scratch on the heavier duty ones I buy. The downside is they don't last very long at all. I wish they held up a little better

The media could not be loaded. My cat Rat was scratching up the couch so I bought this thing. She uses it from time to time but she is still a little devil tearing up my house. As you can see, she tore up my blinds too. I think we’ll need an exorcism soon.

Purchased in Feb 2023 and by summer time, the post was loose and not steady on the base. Then by Fall, the entire post came off because the plastic tube is stapled to a small lip on the plastic. So cheaply made! Keep shopping to find better quality. The smaller round base was not designed well. For a taller post, it needs a wider, heavier base. The post tips over too easily. My 2 small (7-9 pound) cats excitedly went to try it out once I assembled it. It immediately started tipping over and neither of my cats have used it since. Booo. So my Dad screwed our own larger, heavier wood base to the post to keep it sturdy and prevent tipping, which worked for about 1 month. Then the stapled plastic tube became loose and separated. I removed the broken piece and screwed the top half of the post into the bottom - but now its so short. My cats don't even give it a passing look. Ugh. Waste of money Utter crap!
