This IR light comes in a small black case and includes a USB-C plug to recharge the battery. When used with my IR camera it lights up very bright and works well. The build quality seems great as well. For those wondering on where to plug it in, you remove the actual battery and plug the USB C cord into the battery itself. Never seen that before but it works. I’d recommend this if you’re in the market for an IR light.

Really works well to extend visible range of my night vision monocular .

I do a lot of night time videography and was looking for a good IR Illuminator that could reach out to 200 yards or better. This little guy fits my needs perfectly. I have this illuminator mounted in a mic mount on my Canon XA11 and it works great in this configuration. Having the ability to zoom the beam in and out is a huge plus for me. The brightness is amazing and several orders of magnitude better than the IR light on my camera. Battery life is excellent also. After a full charge, I left the light on while filming over night (about 8 hours) and there was still plenty of charge. In fact, This one charge has lasted about 15 hours and still has some juice. The only negative thing I have to report about this product is the totally useless 5.5" x 4" piece of paper supplied with the light that is titled users manual. While it does have a graphic showing the correct orientation of the battery, it says nothing about how to charge. After fiddling with it for a few minutes I found the charging port for the battery. It's actually on the side of the positive terminal of the battery itself. So, pull the battery out of the light, plug the charging cable into its slot and then into a USB charger. On either side of the positive nipple on the battery there are two tiny little LEDs that flash green indicating charging. These LEDs turn solid green indicating charging is complete. Initial charge time was a little over 2 hours.

I like it. It works very well for an affordable IR torch that you can keep in a bag instead of the more expensive StreamLight supertac. There are three modes, low, mid, and high; however I am unable to tell a difference between mid and high. The adjustable lens allows you to go from flood, to a more focused beam. At full flood you get about a distinct 20 yard-wide pattern on subjects about 20 yards away. At full-beam you get a square-shaped focus point that is about 20"x20" on a surface about 20" away that grows to about a 20ft X 20ft focus point at about 200 yards. It will still (faintly) illuminate subjects out to about 300yds, but you can no longer see the shape of the beam focus. I have run it using a single 18650 as well as two CR123s; there is no noticeable difference in illumination amount between the two. I found the tube to fit several different picatinny mounts made for flashlights and lasers. The adjustable lens has enough grip to it that it wont loosely slip and lose beam focus. One star removed due to the emitter shape being so obvious at full beam; think of the $5 Amazon Special flashlights and scale it up - that's what it is in a nutshell. I intend to get a few more to keep in different bags and to have in case this one dies unexpectedly. I may amend this review with photos later.

Nice item good construction. Comes with no batteries or mount which is a pain. Also at this price point should come with a pressure switch.
