Great size for a two egg omelette:) Enough capacity for shop bought microwave meals too. The steam outlet is firm and accurate and the clip closure is also tight and secure. I like the red colour - many tomato based dishes stain white and light coloured containers - so this is a good solution.

We recently came across the Sistema microwave cookware and ordered four versions of it. It is everything we'd hoped for. Easy to clean, designed for the microwave, adjustable vent, secure lid, etc. This version is great for reheating a dinner or anything which fits. It is not very tall which means you can eat right out of it if you want. Other models are bigger or smaller, some for steaming, cooking rice, etc. All that we have tried are excellent.

This is just the right size for warming tortillas and other such foods. Actually I love all my several Sistema microwave containers. There is a size and shape for just about everything needing to be microwaved. And yes the freezer friendliness is also great. Food can go from freezer to microwave and to table using just the Sistema container. Also is nice when making a dinner entree a day ahead, storing in the refrig in the Sistema, then reheating in short order the next night when too tired to fuss with dinner prep.
