I was recently presented with a moving box full of my old records, collected during the 70s and 80s. I was not especially careful with them when I was playing them back then, and they have been sitting in this box since my last turntable was retired, many years ago. When I opened the box, I could not bring my self to part with them, so I got a really great $40 all in one turntable (Lauson CL502), and ordered up some record cleaning supplies. This brush is great, and so is the cleaner! I have encountered a few with some really gunky smudges, and the spray with a microfiber cloth (with the album laid on a soft cloth on tabletop, firm but gentle pressure following grooves) cleaned it right off. On the ones that were not that bad, I used the brush with a few sprays of cleaner on it, and it pulled off more dust than I had thought was on there. I have just ordered a larger container of this cleaner!

THIS IS IT! This record cleaning brush and liquid spray cleaner actually does what it is advertised to do. The very fine bristles, though soft, fully removed all the dirt and dust in and outside the grooves. Though I generally take care of my albums, the brush and cleaner produced an added level of clean. The proof was in the before and after sound of my music. With the record spinning on the platter after just 3 spot sprays allowed the handheld brush to effectively do its job. Only 30 seconds of holding the brush (not heavy handed), while moving it back and forth toward the center gets the grooves clean. WORTH IT!

Good product; works well for cleaning records with mild to medium residue; haven't cleaned anything overly dirty. Doesn't seem to remove smudges and/or filmy spots in my experience thus far, but for the money, it's definitely provided great value. The brush bristles are nice and the small, protruding metal edge that implements the bristle cleaning is a nice little feature. Great buy overall.

Have not owned vinyl records in a couple of decades and recently acquired a couple of dozen vintage albums from the 70's and 80's. Ordered turntable and speakers and remembered an album cleaner at the end of the process. Found the Collector Protector Vinyl Record Spray Cleaner and Anti Static Carbon Fiber Record Brush on Amazon and ordered. Glad that I did. Works much better that the old lint brush concept of old. It really cleans them to like brand new. It also comes with a cloth bag to put the brush and cleaner in. It will not remove the scratches of course. Also, and most importantly, this is a small American business that is supported with your purchase. After the purchase, they sent me 2 emails to make sure that I was happy with their product!! I hope that I can do more business with them in the future!

I purchased this brush a few weeks ago. It's very simple to use. It has done a really nice job cleaning up dust and debris from all of my records, old and new! I have noticed a significant reduction in the cracks and pops that were so prevalent in some of my older albums. I also like how the folding handle helps remove the dust from the brushes themselves. I have seen no evidence of any loose fibers/brushes on any of my vinyl, and I have a few that are colored where they might really show up, including a white album. The best part of this product, however, has been the customer service. I had questions about use, especially with the spray bottle, and he addressed them immediately. He also followed up with me on the purchase and was always timely in his replies. In this day and age, good customer service is as good a reason as any to make a purchase, especially when similar products exist. The only minor concern was there were no directions on how to use the spray. The seller answered that question immediately via email (as mentioned above) and stated they would soon be included on the packaging. So it's really a small thing. It's a great little product that has improved the sound quality of some of my dustiest albums! I would recommend it if you need a light cleaner. It's not intended for those really dirty albums, though. Maybe one day I'll get one of those fancy record cleaning machines!

En mis tiempos no se limpiaban los discos con los utensilios que hay hoy día que son muchísimos. Este producto lo compré porque después de haber comprado el cepillo de pana que supuestamente quita la estática, tenía varios discos que seguían brincando o se quedaban pegados siendo nuevos. Con este cepillo, que es muy económico, los limpié y pude corregir el problema. Hay discos que vienen con problemas de este tipo aunque sean nuevos.

Love this record cleaner. I does clean my vinyls very well. Also included is a little bottle of fluid cleaner. I really do not use it at all. I also use an anti static brush to clean my records. But this cleaner does it's job very well. Just read the instructions on how to use it and you can't go wrong. Been using it for a very long time. And it lasts too. I just got my 2nd one. Nice thing is that this come with a pouch. I keep my stylus cleaner in it as well. This way you don't lose anything.
