Review for "Westcott 55848 8-Inch Titanium Scissors For Office and Home, Black/Gold, 4 Pack" I'm definitely not a connoisseur when it comes to scissors. Either they cut well enough, or they don't and I find a different pair that does. After a while I got tired of always having to see if we had other scissors around because none of them were cutting well anymore. And then I had the crazy idea that maybe I should just buy some decent new scissors and get rid of the junky old ones that didn't cut properly anymore. So I spent entirely too much time looking through all of the scissors on Amazon, weighing prices and features and reviews that you never know if they're real or not (yes, this is a real review). And I decided on these. They're fairly cheap but they didn't look especially cheap, and the reviews were overwhelmingly positive. And when I got them, they were so... honestly, cheap feeling. They just don't have much heft to them. The metal seems a bit thin. The plastic handles are comfortable but don't look like they were made for longevity. The saying "looks can be deceiving" was never so true. These are great scissors. They cut really well, without fail. They are incredibly sharp. If you do something stupid like I did and use them for the wrong purpose, you'll find out just how sharp. I sliced my finger almost to the bone. They work lefty or righty and the handles are sturdier than they look. I don't remember exactly when I bought them but it's been at least 6 months and they see a fair amount of use, and there's no indication that they'll work any less well with time. And with four pairs, I don't see myself ever having to buy scissors again. Well worth the price.

When it comes to having a readily available set of scissors, they always seem to be missing in my house. I got tired of searching around for one or two pairs, and finally bought this set. These are sharp, cut clean, and light weight. They're sized right for most adult size hands and give a nice tactile gripping surface to keep them from slipping. These get used for just about any job around the house and perform excellently. They wash easily and have performed well without any issues.

Bought for a craft get together. These were perfect gifts to put in craft bags. They are sharp, stick free and Westcott...what more is there Would buy again if needed. Great price for 4 pair of good quality scissors.

Sharp & well worth the money!

These scissors are so good. They are sharp and cut things. They look freaking awesome while doing it. If you want to be one step shy of Edward scissor hands but still feel like an absolute scissorchad, get these scissors. They will not fail to impress.

Sharp blades but weak construction. Good for cutting paper and other very light duty types of cutting. Good deal for the price I paid, so for certain purposes, I do recommend them.

Purchased the Westcott 55847 8-Inch scissors 2 pack. Works well. Sturdy, cheap, gets the job done. Have had these for about 10 months now and they are holding up fine. We use them 5-6 times a week and have not had to sharpen them yet. Have washed them repeatedly with no issues or signs of rust (make sure you let them dry before putting them away). These fit adult and teenager-sized hands. Handle is black, metal part is gold/brass color. I have not tried to cut cardboard with them many times, but they have worked fine on thinner pieces (such as typical Amazon boxes).

These for the price paid are incredible. They were only purchased to replace a cheaper set of work scissors that broke in a super weird way. They were only intended to be used on labels when purchased and do that just fine. The reviews here are "most likely real" and it may be a roll of the dice like most stuff here if you get the good or bad version of the product. Take all reviews in before going "He got lucky, I bet I can too!" logic on what seems like too cheap to have 2 working pair of scissors show up. 4.29.2023 I’ve never used the 2nd pair yet, 1st ones still working. I found out someone was cutting the anti fatigue mats in half with them and they still held up. I sharpened them with a sharpener and they still cut like new. I hope you all get the pair I received that’s crazy how long ago I made this review. 8.19.2024 The 2nd set got stolen but the 1st ones I branded wity my initials still work fine. I caught someone using them to cut a long anti fatigue mat into 6 pieces. The blades still sharp and the hinge still attached. People keep using them to open food and I keep having to clean them in the sink and they did not rust up. I got my moneys worth even with the 2nd pair stolen. If they break tomorrow I would take the gamble and hope the set I get aren’t the batch everyone 1 ⭐️ reviewed.

Comprei as tesouras, e são boas, quanto a durabilidade, só o tempo provará. Parecem resistentes. Recomendo.
