excellent produit technique et de qualité. J'ai collé des ailerons de stabilisation sur des kayaks en plastique. La durée de la colle dans le tube après ouverture est de quelques jours et non de quelques heures comme indiqué

I read most of the reviews on the 3M Fast Cure 4200 Sealant and was a little warry but after using the product, I am very pleased. Yes, it is not an easy flow product out of the included nozzle but it has to be designed that way or you would have material all over the place. I suggest as others have, do not try to have to small of a hole in the nozzle because it is difficult when using a smaller hole. I kept tightening the nozzle after each hole I filled on my boat and had no problems with it. The product skinned over quickly and cured totally within 24 hours. I suggest everyone, read the directions so they are not trying to use the product for an application it was not designed for. Great product and will use again if the need arises. Wish there was one size smaller because once it is opened, in 24 hours, it can no longer be used. I was filling small screw holes where I removed snap grommets in the floor of my boat and wanted to protect the area the screws had created. Sealed great and permanent till I want to pull it out or put screws back in.

This sealant is excellent. Cure time gives plenty of work time while fast enough to get back on the water quickly. Being in a tube makes easy to dispense and spread. It stands up to weather and vibration great. The adhesion is great and has held strong not had a single drop of water get by. Cleanup is easy if you do it right away. Great value in sealants.

This stuff is great when you need to seal a hole in your boat. It is thick and tacky enough to hold a gasket in place while you mount it, isn't too runny and seals as a non-brittle but strong bond so it wont crack later. Buy this when you need it don't expect it to last long after you open the cap and use it. It is a fair price to pay when sealing areas you need to keep water out below your boats water line ( if you think this is expensive look into the 2 part fusor products used in the transportation industry). If you want to keep extra around I suggest buying a spare tube to keep unopened. A tip for those worried about "blowing the tip off" cut a large enough hole for the product to flow through...its thick and tacky, also use firm even pressure do not try and get it all out at once. If you have to you can place the tube in a bowl of hot water to soften the Adhesive and make it more fluid and easier to squeeze out. I used this for quite a few projects, recently I mounted a rod holder with it to protect the boats paint, and used it when I installed my livewell aerator, I also sealed a hole in the plastic liner of my beer fridge and to patch a gouge in a linoleum floor. I have been able to clean and re-use my last tube many times just by cleaning the threads after each use removing the applicator and punching a nail backwards down the tip. Fair winds and tight lines !

My husband bought this. I don’t know much about it but he has zero complaints. He bought it for a boat. He has fixed up 2 boats, sold one & we kept the other. So he apparently knows what to buy & how to use it.
