É um bom livro introdutório, mas paguei R$66,74, achei caro para um livro impresso desta maneira, embora seja importado.

Particle Physics has been at the cutting edge of atomic and then nuclear physics. By 1960s it exploded in ways unthinkable before that with literally thousands of particles. A historical study of how one reached this state and what all particles are involved in this, is explained in a simple and attractive manner in this book. I was glued to it after I opened it. Only one note: many of the pictures used are very shabby and crude and much more professionalism is expected in the 21st century. However, please not that, this does not diminish the over-all value or usefulness of the book.
