I was having hard time finding stomach sensitive food for my cat till found Merrick Sensitive. My cat loves it and no more throw ups. She seems to be super happy with her food.

I don't know if it's my cat, Amazon, or the food itself, but I have tried many expensive foods with my cat like Wellness and Weruva and they have all started making him sick recently. I went back to this food after many months of frustration from trying to get him to adjust to the "best" foods on the market, because Merrick is "old trusty". My cat enjoys solid, non-explosive poops and no vomiting while on this food which is something I haven't seen out of him since 2017. I'm understanding that this food was bought out by a major brand and is no longer up to the quality I so desire, but I can't argue with my cat's digestive system. If this is what helps him feel good and not be uncomfortable/in pain every day then this is what I'll feed to him.

Dexter has about a dozen food allergies and this is one of the foods that he can eat. As it turns out he’s quite picky and this is one of the few foods he will eat willingly, without hesitation. I find it easier to feed the two other kitties the same food and everyone will eat this- thank goodness!!! Both Dexter and his brother are very picky so the fact that they willingly eat the Merrick brand limited ingredient diets that I purchased for them is everything to me.

Limited ingredient has been a lifesaver for our older cat. He loves the chicken and turkey versions but is unable to eat the duck version - it has extra ingredients. If it weren't for this food, I think we'd have had to put our cat down a year ago.

I am not sure about this flavor (chicken) but I had a problem with the turkey; I will not test the chicken on my cats, and will start making my own food. I can make organic food for cheaper than the cost of this food, and then I know what is in it.. After feeding my cats the 5.5 oz cans, I ordered some of the small cans so the food was fresher, HOWEVER while they liked the large cans and ate with no problem, no one would eat this food. I put a topper on some of the food and got my chow hound cat to eat a little, next morning I found clear vomit tinged with blood that I believe came from the cat that actually ate a little of the food, as none of the other cats ate any and were all acting normal, while the cat that ate some wouldn't eat anything the rest of the day. I contacted the company and explained the issue and they are sending me a refund and a return postage for me to send them a few cans to check. Please be careful, she said the label had a bar code for the 5.5 oz cans, so who knows where this food is really coming from.

My cat has had a sensitive stomach all her life but has no problems with Merrick Limited Ingredient. After having a lot of her teeth removed I had to switch her to canned food. She got sick on the foods with fish ingredients, but the Merrick has been fine. She absolutely loves the chicken flavor! It doesn't have a bad "cat food" smell and is easy for her to eat.

One of my cats has food allergies, so both of my kitties have been eating this food for about 8 years now. They enjoy all the flavors, and I have been happy with buying it off Amazon, as I have had problems finding it in pet stores in the past (they had some supply issues). Unfortunately, with my last two orders of 24-packs of 5 oz. cans, I’ve been sent the smaller 24-pack of 2.8 oz cans for the price of the larger cans. They don’t accept returns on this item, so I end up with a refund (so free food), but not enough food to get my cats through a month. The 2.8 oz. 24-packs are being mislabeled as 5 oz. 24-packs.
