Simple, Practical and Great Price. Perfect little charger
Works perfect so far. Ordered it, had it in 2 days and now have my Harley fully charged and the battery nice and warm. Very easy to read lights, nice long flat spot on the back for laying on the floor or mounting to a wall and all the attachments you need. And the price is unbeatable. Thanks MOTOPOWER!

A Smart Charger for a Great Price
Having recently bought a Hybrid Sonata I need a battery maintainer for my periodic absences. Without a maintainer there is a chance my lithium ion car battery system could be discharged during prolonged inactive periods. Through research I found the MP00207A. It is rated for both lead acid and lithium ion batteries. Since i received it, i have had the chance to experiment with the MP00207A. Using the clips the unit quickly and efficiently charged my battery. The unit tells you if it is properly connected and whether it is charging or the battery is fully charged. I am totally happy with the purchase. It took some research to find how to use the unit on a lithium ion battery, but once found it works great. (Red clip goes to the + terminal, by the fuses; the black clip to a bolt for the suspension system.) As an update, we just used this Motopower charger to maintain our Hybrid Sonata, during a two month trip. We were gone for two months during which time we used the Motopower to avoid our hybrid totally discharging (due to non-use). it worked great. The car started right up and all systems were maintained.

Very nice charger and a great value.
I ended up returning this charger because it would not charge the battery pack I had built. It says it will charge lithium ion batteries but not in my case. I believe there was a compatibility issue between the BMS I used in the battery pack and the microprocessor in this charger. It would charge it to12.1 or 12.2 but would not bring it up to 12.6v. This is considered a "Smart Charger" but what I needed was a dumb charger (without a microprocessor). His is a great tool for automotive use but not for my purpose

Plug and Play
Nice little unit. Looking at other other battery chargers/tenders, this one appeared to be the best value for a 2 Amp unit. I suspected that my battery was starting to go because it's been more than 5 years since I last changed it and was curious to see if this would extend the life of my battery. I noticed that the very slight rough idling my car was experiencing stopped as soon as I started using this. I plan to always plug this into my car even though I use my car almost every day now. When I wasn't working, I would sometimes forget to run the car and the battery would totally drain. I didn't realize how much damage that could do to the battery...something about it getting calcification which decreases the lifespan of the battery. Well anyway, I highly recommend purchasing this product. No thinking involved, just plug it in. If you plug it in the wrong way, it will light up the warning light and the internal circuitry will prevent anything from being damaged.

Didn't last very long
Initially this charger seemed to work ok. After a few times using it, when I connected it to my battery if it was dead, it wouldn't charge it at all And today it failed completely. I've used it maybe 3 or 4 times over the last 10 months and now its totally dead. No lights, no charging, just doesn't work any more. I notice that there's no warranty info provided on the item page so not sure if its got one, but I'm not going to bother. They make it difficult to get warranty help for a reason I think. I have an old Sears brand 12v trickle charger that must be 30-40 years old that still works. Sure wish they still made products like that. I guess that's the price of not paying more for a product. Very few companies actually take pride in making good products any more. You can't find anything with "Made in the USA" on it, and that used to stand for something. Cheaper is the name of the game and who cares what happens after the customer plunks down their money. I often wonder if these Chinese companies sell the same junk to people in China and they really have zero pride in what they make or do or if they only send the junk to us gullible Americans.

BFF for your chargeable battery
Microprocessor controlled, careful charging, of the most popular types of batteries. Paired with a professional multimeter so that you can monitor he charging process.... or set up and walk away. This charger has you covered. Lead-Acid or Lithium Ion, go for it ! Runs cool at an amperage you can trust, no quick charge game... just a riable, safe, and steady charge. Be aware the some BMSs will cut off the charge before the charger led turns green. For instance, I have been consistently charging scooter Li-Ion batteries which cut the charge when the batteries reach 12.6 VDC , which is before the charger led turns green. After reaching the required 12.6 VDC, the charger has no effect on these batteries. The multimeter confirms this. If you're charging a 12 volt battery, this charger is your best option.

Very pleased with this charger, I bought it to keep my RE Himalayen battery topped up when the bike is layed up. The tender wire the charger comes with makes it so easy to charge once it's fitted to the battery
