I've had these Etekcity 10kg Digital Kitchen Scales for almost 11 months, and up until about two months ago, everything was great. They were accurate, easy to use, and the USB rechargeability was really convenient. However, recently, they've started acting up. The readings have become inconsistent, fluctuating by 2-5g back and forth, and it's really slowed down the process of weighing. I also noticed some rust starting to appear, even though I've never submerged them in water — just wiped them down with a cloth as instructed. It's a bit disappointing, especially since I've taken good care of them. Overall, they worked well at first, but the recent issues have been a letdown. I've included a photo showing the rust, in case it helps.

Great little scales. They are a very neat design that doesn’t take up too much storage space and I like the stainless steel look which makes them look more expensive than they are. They have a large enough platform to weigh on and the LCD display is easy to read and clear. I have tried lots of digital scales before and this one is by far the best. Another member of my family have the same scales and they have lasted and worked particularly well so they recommended them to me. I’m so glad I bought them, they are great value for money. I have used them daily since buying them and they have proven easy to use. They are also very easy to clean and are durable.

We use this scale daily for weighing food. It is basically a perfect kitchen scales in my eyes. It is rechargeable, the battery lasts a few weeks before needing a recharge (USB cable only included), it doesn’t automatically turn on when weight is pressed on it which is great for battery life and storage. If left alone after weighing, it shows the weight for a long period (3mins) before turning off, which is great when working in a kitchen and making up a mix of foods, but also has a hold function if you need to keep the weight longer. Its surface is large and easily cleaned. The design and size means the display is nearly always visible even when dealing with large containers. It has a tare (zero) and negative weight function. It also has different units available to use and it has an impressive range of 1h to 10kg capacity. I’d highly recommend this product to anyone, especially if you’ve found other scales annoying in the past.

Great scale would buy again,love the fact you can use any item to put your food in to way and you can re set to zero so you just weigh the food

I am a home baker and need needed a scale that measures in .1 grams and this does the job. It has a good size 'pad' for placement of bowls, etc and is wide enough that I can put a muffin tin on it and weigh the batter for each liner. The readout is clear and a good size. Battery life is decent. Easy to clean. The only downside to this scale and it is a personal one - when taring the scale (clearing it to zero), there is a bit of a lag. For almost everyone this isn't a big deal and probably wouldn't even be noticeable. But when you are standing there waiting to weigh out cookie dough, etc it can be mildly annoying. Mildly.

Producto bueno, bonito y barato. Es pequeño, bastante estético y facil de limpiar. Tiene la misma precisión que podría tener cualquier otra balanza, es lo suficiente como para utilizarla para repostería y cocina. Mide un peso máximo de 5Kg. Su manejo es muy fácil, solo hay que darle al botón para encenderla y si tienes que ponerla a 0 solo le tienes que dar al botón otra vez, y para apagarlo dejarlo pulsado. Por ponerle una pega, lo encuentro un poco pequeño, ya que los recipientes grandes y anchos tapan la pantalla y hay que ponerlos al borde para poder verla, cosa que no pasa con los platos normales, aun así no es un problema grave.
