As advertised. Very bright and nice blue color. Easy to install. The adhesive works great. Easy to solder 18 or 20 AWG wire to endpoints but this comes with one end wire installed and one end connector installed. I cut them both off and soldered my own wire. You could get one of those easy clip connectors if you don't want to solder. You can trim to any length you want with regular scissors or wire snip..

I wanted our pontoon boat to be light up at night. This worked very well! Installation is pretty straightforward. The 3m doesn’t stick very well on its own, but if you use clear silicon along the edges it holds up with no issues! Super bright and lights up the inside of our pontoon very well! Highly recommend!

Lights work great and are bright white. Double sided adhesive tape is very thin and doesn't adhere very well.

Was bigger then i thought size wise they look like they will be nice and bright. Got them for a project as closet lighting. I like that they plug in but they don't come with the 12V adapter which u have to buy seperately. They also work with the rgb connectors so u dont have to wire them in but can. They also have that silicone clear coating bubble top over the top of them to protect them from damage. Good buy for the price!

Trash. These are supposed to be ‘waterproof’ but they hardly are. After a couple months of using them in 2 different reptile cages some how they rusted out and completely stopped working at the circuit board level. I do not recommend these if you using them in an environment that has any kind of humidity.

So I hope this review helps someone, but these are the most simple/cheapest lightstrip I could find on Amazon. You can cut them anywhere, usually in half since they have 2 wires on each end.. The backing was pretty sticky but I used hot glue to make them really stick. And all you need to power these guys are a 9v battery... seriously. If you want to have them brighter, then use two 9v batteries to make 18v..

I installed these on my duck boat to be used during the early morning hours while in the blind. Installation was easy, the adhesive backing worked like a charm. The lights were nice and bright and gave us enough ambient light for those hours in the darkness. I went to use them again this year and 2/3 of the lights were burned out. I stored my boat for the season under a heavy tarp with very little exposure to the elements. Don't know what happened, maybe excess moisture or temperature extremes might have doomed these lights, I have no idea. I will buy again because of the price.

First, you need to be sure you order the power cord so you can actually use these lights. Okay, I got the blue lights because I figured they would be calming, and to me they are. They are also much brighter than I was expecting. They’re kind of like the sun, in that you just want to stare at them, but that’s bad for your eyes. It took a couple tries to get the adhesive to stick to the wall, and it seems to be sticking for now, but I’m not sure how long the adhesive will last. All in all, they’re great lights at a great price, and I would definitely recommend buying them.
