has anyone compared this product to others, I recently started to blend fresh veg/fruits.

Yes Amy, we have tried blending fruits, vegetables together, but this wonderful product, who by the way tried it through other friends of ours, have found it remarkable; it detoxifies your body, gives healthy digestion and elimination and helps support your immune system, plus gives you healthy blood sugar levels; it has a raw organic green juice blend, along with veggie and fruit juice blends, with organic sprout blends and probiotic and enzyme blend; we have been using this product for sometime now and won't change; we feel great since we've been using it; hope this helps you; good luck and God bless.

HELP! Any suggestions how to make nonflav drinkable? I forced down with orange juice but dont think I can do again. Was thinking soup or salsa?

Hi, don't worry. This very green powder can be perplexing, but if you turn it into a smoothie you'll love it. I started using this product in late 1999 for an autoimmune disease issue that almost killed me. It was so new it wasn't even in stores, yet. I couldn't swallow anything that wasn't liquid. I used apple juice, a banana, peanut butter and a scoop of the Perfect Food. I can no longer eat peanut butter, I am allergic, but use sun (flower) butter, which is delicious. You may have to taper up from half a scoop of Perfect Food for a week to 3/4 scoop to a full scoop, as it starts to help probiotics or friendly bacteria colonize in your gut. It does take a week or two, and it can be a little uncomfortable, but that is short, unless you don't take it for a day or two, and you may feel that again. For me, it's worth it. To this, you can add protein powder, meal replacement powder, a tablespoon or a cup of yogurt to make it creamier, or just mix it with water and drink. You can add any kind of juice, milk, or fruit. It improved my immune system function so well that I am a customer for life, and my friends started drinking smoothies with Perfect Food, and their friends started, too. One friend uses nonfat strawberry yogurt, soy milk, frozen strawberries and a banana with a scoop of Perfect Food. It's delicious. Her cats love it, too. She list weight and I was under weight, and my weght stabilized, too. Another friend gives it to her dogs. They love it (just don't use chocolate for dogs). I have substituted coconut milk for the juice, in addition to almond, hemp, rice, oat and sometimes soy milk. Lately I put plain yogurt, water (or coconut milk), frozen blueberries and Perfect Food, and blend. It is so good. I got my strength back and more with Perfect Food. I hope this helps. There is really no wrong way to do it. It really helped restore my health, and I am forever grateful. Perfect Food saved my life. Good luck!

Is this sweetened with anything? I'm looking for something unsweetened, not even with stevia.

Not sweetened at all. Pretty gross, actually.

Will this take the place of juicing? A meal?

Juicing, yes. Meal, no. You still need your protein and carbs. If you consume alot as a mere drink, of course, you'll be full and have no room to eat any food. Think of this a salad or a snack if you drink it on its own and with any other juicy drink. With a smoothie, it's a meal (but if the smoothie is specified as a meal).

We use Garden of Life Raw Organic Perfect Food to boost nutrition in my husband’s eggs every morning...it helps mask the taste and works really well that way. We tried it in smoothies, but the flavor didn’t blend as nicely, so it’s better mixed into food. Still a great way to get greens and nutrients in a simple, healthy way. 🌱

I don't even remember how many times I've purchased this, but it's been a lot. I have this order on auto-ship since it's become such a staple in my overall diet. I was researching the best greens powders to use and this one kept popping up. The original flavor does not contain any stevia or added sugars and it also contains a variety of different fruits, vegetables, greens, and probiotics. I mix one scoop into a glass of water with an electric mixer and it breaks up very easily. It does taste like straight up grass water, but I've gotten so accustomed to the taste that it doesn't even phase me anymore. I actually look forward to it LOL. I've read that the flavored ones taste better, but I always buy the original since I don't want anything with stevia in it (sometimes it can cause bloating). As for my gut health (which is what I initially bought this for), I do think it helps clear up my stomach. I noticed that it reduced my bloating and made it easier to go to the bathroom. I like to drink it in the morning after I've had my water and it makes a huge difference. It also makes me feel refreshed and healthy as well. If you're in the market for a great greens powder, I would highly recommend this!

Texture and taste are a bit bitter but overall taste is fine. I put mine in my smoothie everyday and with a blend of banana and blueberries and the strength of the taste is almost not noticeable

Works great and I love that it doesn’t have sweet taste. Maybe a bit pricier than the other famous brand but definitely better choice.
