Bosch MUZ 4 FW1 01 Meat Grinder with 4.5-Millimeter Perforated Disk

I just purchased this unit for my Bosch Compact kitchen machines (I have two!) and discover upon very first use that it grinds meat quickly and superbly as others have reported. While grinding beef chuck,the last very last piece of meat in the batch pushed down the tube did not squeeze through the perforated disk, causing expensive waste - which is why I don't give it a perfect score. Maybe I will eventually discover some trick to make that last piece of meat go through the grinder completely - perhaps I should have chosen the highest speed. Make sure to clean, dry, and oil the blade and disk according to the instructions. They tarnish and rust very easily. I discovered this fact the hard way while letting the disk soak in dishwater too long. I look forward to use of this quality product for years to come, and experimenting with it for pates, terrines, and a variety of other recipes calling for ground meats. I have additionally invested in the berry press attachment for the grinder, which I expect to arrive soon.
