Case Club AR-15 Pre-Cut Waterproof Rifle Case with Included Silica Gel to Help Prevent Gun Rust & Small Waterproof Accessory Box (Gen 2)

So the cut out that comes with the case it's not for every state as I come to find out. I live in jersey so the cut out just didn't work for me. The AR15 handle is not collapsible so I had to cut the foam diagonally and even then it bearly fits. It's not the company fault though.

This is an excellent case. I've never owned one specifically for firearms prior, but I was military for 23 years and we used Pelican cases for many of our missions, storing tools and many other heavy items. They really took a beating, and stood up to that beating quite well. This case feels exactly the same - good quality, heavy plastic with just enough flex to avoid cracking; you wouldn't know it wasn't a (much more expensive) Pelican case other than the lack of a Pelican label.I can't imagine this case not standing up to years or even decades of normal use, or at least a good handful if you're one of those that likes tossing things into the bed of your truck and dragging them up the side of a mountain. I'm actually back writing this review because I'm shopping for another case for my newly-built .300 Blackout SBR; if they keep making their gear as good as my first one, Case Club has my business for every case I buy going forward.

Update: 02 July 2022Ok, my bad. They did follow through with what was said previously. The foam inserts showed up today, fit like a glove and was everything this little boy could hope for.Yes there were hiccups with this order, however, I will continue to be a CaseClub customer. They do have a high quality product and great customer service.Update: 18 June 2022Customer service guy talked a good game, but zero follow through. Still waiting for the inserts to be delivered like her said he would make sure got sent out during our phone call on 03 June 2022.After a phone call and message left on 13 June 2022, I'm still waiting for a call backOk, so back story I ordered a case it arrived on time undamaged everything was great. I opened it, no precut foam inserts. Frustrating but not a huge issue. Contacted Amazon and Case club about issue and was sent a second Case for replacement.2nd Case arrives and no inserts. It's kinda humorous at this point. Contact Case club via email and explain the situation. They are freaking awesome about everything and quickly come up with a solution to fix the issue.****they come up with a solution, but so far have zero follow through after the initial plan.Still waiting for the solution to arrive......*****

Heavy but so nice

I looked far and wide for for a case to house my next AR build. This case will contain my .308 Sig Sauer 716. This is a piston drive AR equipped with a magpul stock. From the factory it is equipped with a 16" barrel. As you can see from the posted photos this gun does fit with space to spare however I am not sure it will fit once the suppressor is added. I plan to shorten the barrel to 14.5" and add a 5" suppressor, we will see how tight the fit is. It may require the suppressor to be removed for storage but I am hoping not. I've also pictured it without the ANT scope mounted to give an idea of the stock cutout. It did require a little trimming at the butt and at the trigger area. I also had to cut out the center lining for the two magazine holders as it would not fit two 25 round PMAGs without trimming. I will modify the foam to fit 3 25 round clips and the factory 20. I will also modify the foam to fit the ANT scope once I have the suppressor and barrel work finished so as to not ruin the foam overall with too many cuts. (look for updated photos later)While this case is NOT on the same level as Pelican it is very close for a fraction of the cost. If someone asked me which I would buy it's easy to answer, case club. Dollar for quality it's equal to or better when shopping the other high end brands but time will tell (look for a 6 month update). I also like that this case included the little things, a nice cutter to trim the foam, business card to contact the vendor if you had questions, two keys for the stock locks and a reusable dehumidifier package to keep the gun dry and safe. Lots of little things made this an exciting purchase.
