Lots of pockets
When I head into the city or travel, I like to have lots of things with me and I insist they be organized in my bag. Glasses, wipes, phone, spare battery and cables, headphone, some chocolate and werthers, a couple of face masks, pen, (and sometimes a passport and tickets). This backpack has it all. Well designed and easy to access. I love the separate pocket for my laptop and iPad - very easy to access even with a fully packed bag - extra nice when at airport security. Both the rear (laptop) and front main pockets open wide so it is easy to access whatever stuff you are carrying. The smaller side pocket is great for a water bottle (unlikely to hold a large bottle, the Dasani size is probably the largest you will get in there). I'd rather it was a dedicated water bottle pocket, but presumably the zipper on it makes the pocket more useful to those who do not like carrying water. Not a big deal. The larger side pocket is great for an umbrella. I have mine in there permanently now so I will never get caught without it and it does not interfere with the rest of my bag's contents. Nice and tough leather. Stitching and zippers look and feel durable. I find it quite comfortable to carry. Not sure I'd want to take it on a day-long hike unless I fitted a strap across my chest to hold the two straps in place.

Muy cómodo
Un poco pesado pero muy agradable al uso con numerosas bolsas más o menos grandes.

High quality product
I really like the number of pockets and storage spaces. I need to carry lots of accessories and I'm able to fit them and organise them well in this bag. The metal zippers look like they could be durable.

Well made, well designed bag.
Had it a couple of days, given it a good look over, taken it out a couple of times. Excellent solid bag. Good quality leather, good stitching, handles reinforced with well-set rivets and despite some of the reviews, good zippers. They don't stick, they're very smooth - but there's clearly a slight problem with quality assurance in that in some of them the metal arch that keeps the zipper handle captive isn't bent enough to hold it, and it can come off in your hand. So when you get your bag, you should check each of the zippers and if the arch isn't bent over properly, brace it against something solid and hit it with something heavy. That'll fix it. No RMA required. The larger side pocket is an excellent size for a 750ml/24oz water bottle; a 500ml coke bottle will fit with room to spare. The smaller pocket fits my moderately sized camera well for fast access. I was a little concerned that the main compartment might not be big enough but it's got plenty of capacity... if anything there's too many pockets, a couple of these, while excellently finished and lined, are too small to be used for much except pocket change. The laptop compartment is very generous with pockets for a couple of devices or books. My laptop's only 14" so I can't vouch for the really massive ones. I like that the zipper goes all the way around on both front and back compartments giving full access. I saw a concern that there wasn't enough cushioning; honestly, there's more than on my last backpack and I think it'll be fine unless you're drop kicking your bag into the car. Checked baggage on a flight? Ehhhh, maybe not. The straps are very comfortable, the pad is breathable and sits snugly on my back and I'm a big chap. I've worked with leather a while and I have no trouble believing the colouring on this will run, that's just the reality of leather. Don't wear it in the damp against clothes you like. The leather will attract scuffs and bruises, and the best thing about crazy horse or tooling leather is that it's going to wear it as character to make your bag unique. This isn't a Radley bag or something that you keep in factory condition, or that you ever could. Treat it bad, apologize later with beeswax. I'll come back after a couple of months with an update.
