Great Rod really made a difference to how my crystal bowls play now it definitely made a smoother less scraping noise initially on building the vibration and sound on the crystal bowls

Well made and worked well with my singing bowl. I personally prefer the feel of the one with full-length silicone though.

I bought these as a replacement for the suede-covered (yuck) mallets that came with my singing bowls. I haven’t spent a lot of time with them yet, but right out of the box they provide a much more pleasant experience: the weight and dimensions are lovely, there seems to be a lot more control over the dynamics of the performance (you can easily play the bowl much softer and still easily achieve a booming resonance as desired), and, perhaps most importantly, the grinding/hissing sound that the suede mallets produce is nearly eliminated, leaving more of the pure tone to enjoy. On top of all that, they match the aesthetic of the bowls perfectly. I would recommend these to any practitioner of crystal singing bowls, especially those who recognise the spiritual imperative that is veganism.

Comfortable grip, quality is lovely, and the resonance it gives to my singing bowls is great! Compared to my rubber mallets, I love the resonance on this mallet much more. I have another Crystal mallet with silicone that simply doesn't resonate like this one does. This one is slightly longer which makes for a great hand feel. Overall, I love it on my crystal quartz singing bowls. I'll likely buy another.

The crystal striker produces a beautiful clear sound. It sounds much better than my rubber mallet. No more scraping sound. It's made well and has a nice weight to it. I really like the elegant, sleek design, too.
