Celestron 21063 Astromaster 90Az Refractor Telescope

This Telescope is both fun, easy to use and premium. I have been able to see great details on the moon, Jupiter and its classic bands, Saturn and one of it's moons, Titan. I was also able to see Jupiter's galelayen moons, four of them. This premium Telescope also can view stars exceptionally well. It is also incredibly stable, has an easy to use red dot finder, focusing capabilities, a fully rotational design, stable and adjustable stands, an excellent tray for upgrade parts and the two eye pieces and it also comes with the dust covers. Great for stargazers!! Five star by far.

Cuando me decidí a comprar un telescopio estuve investigando si debería comprar un reflector o refractor, y este es una gran opción ya que los refractores no requieren el mismo mantenimiento que los reflectores. Es muy fácil de montar ya que viene prácticamente armado. si como yo están empezando en esto de ver el cielo, se los recomiendo ampliamente, ya después pueden comprar otros lentes y filtros para que disfruten más pero así como viene te diviertes un montón.

Good for the beginners but do not expect too much

I purchased this telescope for my grandson. Although he is still young, I wanted a telescope with enough power to allow him to see planets as well as just the moon. This telescope met that desire. The included spotter scope is very helpful. I was surprised and happy to see how sturdy and well-built the included tripod was. Instructions were easy to follow and we were ready to begin viewing in no time. The unit comes with a phone attachment and an app for your phone that will assist in helping you locate various celestial bodies. I also purchase an optional moon filter. Great telescope for a young person. I would highly recommend.

It's a guaranteed level of quality. My first telescope was a Greenkat, had it at 10 years old (1980). It was nearly as good as this one for magnification. However this Celestron has a lot of play in all gimbles and moving parts. My Greenkat was solid and smooth, all metal parts on a small 1 foot tripod. The red dot pointer again has play, it shakes and sticks, good as a guide only. Do not expect radar missile weaponry accuracy, more toy like if you ask me. God knows what the other China imports are like as this is a known brand. Its simple and easy to set up and you can see a lot. But my old Greenkat from 'Boots' did nearly as good a job and was super solid. All the space pictures and headlines on the box are indeed there to impress. It has lost a star (reviewwise) because sadly the UK made better telescopes 45 years ago for a lot less money. I wonder why I paid 130 pounds more, maybe the others are junk or Celestron is overrated and overpriced, one of these facts must be true.
