Power Stop Z36-834, Z36 Truck & Tow Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Rear Brake Pads

I've used this brand on several vehicles. I ordered these truck and tow pads for a light-duty truck which runs a larger tire and sees occasional towing. These have never disappointed me. They do not squeak and do not produce a lot of dust. The previous pads which these replaced, were of very similar composite and were from one of the big name brand auto parts stores. They were their premium pads. They squeaked every time you hit the brakes. Annoying! Power stop are by far better than anything the big name brands offer and on Amazon, I can get them for much less for what I paid at the auto parts store. Install took about 20 minutes. Excellent pads.

Pads are good, no question. The issue is that Powerstop is no longer including the caliper pin dust boots with the pads. So you gotta purchase the dust boots separately.

Have worked well for over two years on a 2004 Escalade that sees some heavy towing twice a year. Initial break in had some brake noise but have been quiet and relatively dust free.
