McKlein 17" Leather Litigator Laptop Briefcase

McKlein never miss- always perfect! We've ordered their other leather range before (Daley, etc)...always perfect...this particular order was a bit strange...as our order came with some mould and dust (as it probably was stowed away for a while in the Amazon warehouse) but it was brand new nevertheless (Amazon and McKlein never ever shortchanged me before) and with everything in perfect order...all it took was just a touch of leather polish and cleaning/conditioner and this was absolutely sensational again in just over five minutes! I then began to feel like Jerry Maguire in the airport scene (minus Tom Cruise's good looks) with this particular bag (which has a fantastic leather strap with the McKlein 80s corporate logo etched on to allow you to hang it on your shoulder)....and it has multiple components allowing it that versatility and spaciousness that some other briefcases just don't provide for. On top of that, this is just a seriously classy vintage 80s/90s business bag. Love it! Thanks Amazon for selling!

Very happy with this bag. Better than I was expecting. My husband has been looking for a case for over a year now and couldn't find what he felt would cover all his ideas on the perfect bag for him. His old case finally was just too far gone and needed to get something even if it might be a compromise. We found this online and it really seemed to have everything he wanted but as we had never bought this type of thing online before we were afraid of what kind of quality it would end up being. It has been more than he hoped for by far. He doesn't use the shoulder strap at all and was a bit worried about the side attachments getting in the way but no problem at all. There were comments about the weight and he says it isn't any heavier than any bag of this style and quality. The roomy pockets hold all he needs to carry and more. He finds the inside zipper pocket very convenient to store important documents. He has been using it steady for nearly a month and no problems. In short he loves it!

When I got this briefcase I didn't realize it would be so big. It's really wide and it doesn't collapse like a soft-sided briefcase. It looks like a doctor's bag - many people have asked if that's what it was. It was so big and bulky that I considered returning it. I did not return it because I started using it - I started putting my things in this briefcase - because it was so big it held a lot - a large portfolio, files, a small book, laptop, I even put in a frozen dinner for lunch and I don't need to carry my small cooler anymore. So the size turns out to be a benefit - I only carry one bag now. Also it's just so well made and it's really nice looking. It just feels very good - the handles are really well-made and the leather case is very nice. The internal of the case is also very well made - the center laptop section is padded. So after using it a while it has grown on me. I want to keep it now because it's so nice, and the size is actually a benefit if you don't mind looking like you're carrying around a doctor bag.
