Oem filter on my new car is maked "made in the usa" while this description says china and the pic shows no usa stamp. could these be counterfeit?

Subaru oil filters are made by Puralator in the USA. They were made by Honeywell which owns Fram and some of the manufacturing for fram is done in China. A lot of Fram filters coming over from China have water and rust in them. Don’t use a made in China oil filter
