Well, the funny story is I bought a money gift card to put inside the box to give to My Daughter who figures everything out, but I thought for sure she wouldn’t be able to figure this one out! Needless to say as I’m sitting there wrapping gifts, it comes with very vague instructions on how to open it and of course, I had to open it to put the gift card inside. One hour later and multiple Google searches and videos. I’m trying to figure out how to open the box. I was so frustrated. I put the gift card and the box in another box and wrapped it as a gift failure. I could not open the box. So the box won! In less than 60 seconds after My Daughter opened up the box that I threw the puzzle box and the gift card into. She twirled it around in her hands and in less than 60 seconds she opened up the box I was fit to be tied. Congratulations on whoever developed the box the box beat mom!

I put my 13 year old nephew's gift of money (the gift card did not fit) in this for a little excitement to his gift. The design of it was just difficult enough for him to enjoy the excitement of cracking the puzzle. It is very well made.

First, does not fit an Amazon gift card. Had to cut gift card to fit. Then putting it back together with gift card inside, broke first time. Trick to open is so tight that putting it together snapped the weak glue apart.

A little tougher to open, but very well built.

The double puzzle box came a day early! Took me a bit to figure out how to open it LOL but I got it, loaded with treasure (cash) and put back together! What a great way to give money at Christmas to a teenager. Hope my grandson loves it as much as I do!

I have been solving puzzle boxes for nearly 60 years. This is not a puzzle box. It has no sliding pieces. You just pull out one side. Then you can push out the other side. It is a tiny wooden box made with tight tolerances, and nothing more. Avoid this if you are looking for a puzzle box.

This priduct was purchased as a gift. The quality was very good. The quality of cibstruction was very good abd you could not see where the hidden compartments were located. When following the intructions ti was very easy to understand how to open. Overall it was an excellent purchase.
