First ingredient is chicken second ingredient is chicken meal and turkey meal overall good quality my cat loves the taste of it. Texture is crunchy small kibbles perfect for smaller cats. No strong odor my cat transition to it just fine with no problems with digestion. kibbles are brown and very small easy to digest ingredients it’s advertised as chicken and duck, but duck is very far down on the ingredient list, so there may be very small amounts of duck. it’s mainly chicken.

Great brand. They are local, my cats love this cat food and the ingredients make me feel confident feeding my cats this. I’ve been feeding my cats this food for over 2 years now.

Cat's love it, unfortunately I have 2 Cat's, and I'm on a budget so it's too expensive for me for the size. It's 3 lbs.

I love how small the kibble pieces are. It doesn't feel oily either. It doesn't smell bad, it doesn't feel bad. It looks nice. My cats will literally beg me for this food. If their food bowls are even slightly empty they start crying to me and leading me to their bowls because they want more kibble. They free feed and even if they won't immediately eat it when the bowl is full they can not stand the idea of that bowl being empty. This is literally they're favorite food. I have to buy several bags a month just to make them happy. The small bags are really easy to pour too. I like that they seal shut again to preserve the freshness. I also wanted to point out that literally after the first few feedings my cats became a lot shinier and softer compared to when I was feeding them pure balance. The hunger strikes immediately stopped they literally tried to tear this bag open before I could even pour it the first time I introduced it to them. I could barely even get this food into a bowl for them they went ballistic. They became a chorus of little maos and literally harmonized at me for this. They acted like I had opened a can of wet food for this. THEY NEVER DO THAT FOR DRY FOOD OK. I was shook. I'd never seen them react like this to a dry food brand before. Ever since that day i've just been buying this brand of food. It's just easier to deal with in the long run. Not only that but they're barfing way less now. The other brands of food I guess randomly changed the recipe because suddenly my cats would start barfing the food up and hunger striking. I went through so many different brands, Taste of the Wild, Kirkland, Chewy's brand, Rachel Ray, Pure Balance. They'd eat it for a little while then suddenly they'd all start getting sick or having diarhea and hunger striking. This food however we've had zero problems with it. No kitty runs, no upset tummies. I barely had to do any transitional because they took to it so well to the point they would literally leave the pure balance behind in the bowl and only eat the new kibble which was the I and Love and You brand. While I wish there were more flavor options they absolutely love this chicken flavor! I plan to keep buying this for as long as I can. As long as the recipe stays the same my cats will likely be pretty happy with it. I'm pretty sure if I changed brands my cats would likely beat me up for the insurance money to buy more of this food.

This salmon and trout recipe is a big hit with my cat. She finishes every bowl and her coat looks shinier and healthier. I love that the ingredients are high-quality with no fillers. Great value for a nutritious, reliable cat food.

Good product

I recently switched from Purina beyond, wet food to I and Love and You what food for my two oldest cats. And now I'm in the process of switching from the Purina beyond dry food to the I and Love and You brand dry food for my two younger cats. As you can see the pieces are tiny and the the larger ones are normal size cat food pieces from Purina beyond and the teeny tiny heart are the new I and Love and You cat food. The second photo that I provided shows a slow feeder bowl with both foods mixed in. As you can see the new food drops to the bottom and the cats cannot access it in the slow feeder but the top of the bowl has the heavier foods that are bigger and easier for them to find. In addition to this experiment I fed my oldest female cat the new kibble in a separate little bowl and she struggled to lift the tiny pieces of food out of the bowl with her mouth and ended up just pushing it around the bowl several times. So I'm only giving this food three stars because the tiny size of the kibble makes it harder for my cats to consume which means I need to invest in new cat food dishes that will allow for better consumption. I really wanted to give this five stars like I do with the wet foods but I'm actually disappointed in this. I saw another review or somebody said that this I and Love and You brand kibble pieces were too large and it makes me wonder if they readjusted their product because of that feedback because it doesn't seem to match the quality of the food that I received today. With that said, the taste was well received by my cats. And so the issue isn't with the palatability but rather the inferior size of the food and the trouble that my cats will have consuming it
