I use these to hold equipment on my safety vest. These pins are strong and the open clasp end is rounded and not sharp so there is no chance of stabbing yourself. These pins are strong enough to hold my walkie mic, my badge and my box cutter. Best purchase of the year.

The Oversized Safety Pins are exactly what I was looking for. Very sturdy and very large. Definitely worth the price, however the order was for a six pack of safety pins. The package had a holein the plastic bag and two pins where missing. Therefore I am not happy with the fact that I am being charged full price for a partial order.Update...Amazon has refunded the amount for the missing pins and I am very grateful for the swift response.I am also very satisfied with the quick response from Paper Pig and will definitely be making purchases with them in the future.

My 99 year-old grandfather has been seeking a solution to keep his bed covers in place during the night. Apparently he has been moving around a lot and finds the blankets and sheets all wound up in the morning! I ordered these to see if we could pin things together at the bottom of his bed (He's been using smaller pins which are not working as well). These seemed great, and I think might still work but they need to be SHARPER. I didn't even think of that when I bought them, these are actually pretty dull, I think I may have poked actual holes in his sheets.. oops.. they're thick and sturdy, just need to be a bit sharper on the end.

Ended up returning. Too big for what I needed.

Too bulky for fashion practical use but good for ornamental fashion use. Very solid and well made.

Just what I needed …..

Wouldn’t go through a thin blanket and a thin fabric.
