Perfect cutting tool for anywhere...kitchen,camping, fishing and work. Its been used everywhere. Arrived sharp, but i had to help it just a bit. Now its razor sharp..and keeps an edge really well. As well as the knife being a quality knife.. the Sheath is very well made. Thick leather with a great snap. I've bought a few of these knives and gifted my brother a set for his birthday. I recommend these knives to everyone.

Get one! This is the perfect griddle/grill/bbq accessory. Handy for that steak, chicken, dogs, etc that needs trimmed, cut up or portioning... be careful, very sharp and good steel, holds an edge well.

I am a butcher, used to be a chef and have tons of knives. Still, one can always use a good new blade and design to test out. The knife handles well. The blade is heavy enough and long enough for cutting inside/top rounds, fairly well. I even enjoyed using it for trimming. It is fairly easy to sharpen, and holds it edge well. I only have two suggestions for improvement. The top of the blade where I normally grip a knife for control is far too squared off due to the thickness of the steel. The same goes for the finger hole. A little rounding of those edges will save many a hand from painfull calloused fingers after prolonged use. My second suggestion is one for sanitary purposes. Knife handles/hilts are more foodsafe when where the handle meets the blade there is little to no lip. People who have been spending long hours working are often prone to miss little nooks and crannies during cleanup. Many a time have I inspected knives others have cleaned and found sanitized foodstuffs lingering in the little lip where hilt meets blade. Overall, we're I to rate the blade for regular use by regular people on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give this beast an 8.5, and a 9.5 with the improvements I suggested. I'd say it's a great beast of a blade. Worth the purchase.
