Christmas Starter Set.

Arrived earlier than expected. All items were as advertised. The added decorations are pre-punched laser cut cardboard on thick stock. Done well but, was hoping it was already assembled or one piece molded plastic. Train was detailed well. Assembly was pretty smooth. Tiny track connections were a little difficult but patience prevailed. Good set. Seemed a little expensive but not horrible for a train set these days.

This train is so small but works great. I didn't know it came with a power pack & some track-even a little ice skate rink and some out buildings. Not know it came with track I bought some of the track that has a base on it already and works nicer anyway. It looks great going around the xmas tree.

I loved the size, the small detailed work and beautiful paint job on the train - the track is relatively easy to put together once you get the hang of it and it ran beautifully and suited my purpose as a desk decoration. At first it would run slowly on 50 and faster as the power was turned up - but after a few days it wouldn't run at all unless I cranked it past 100. Not sure what happened there. It is a little hard to mount on the track correctly and will derail easily if not just right. but it makes for a nice small set for any display (see pictures)

This is a very neat little tabletop train. Showed up in perfect condition, and works great.

I was very pleased with the quality of this train set. Well packaged and solid construction. I needed a magnifier and tweezers to assemble the tiny buildings. The magnifier came in handy for connecting the sections of track as well. I anticipated problems but they didn’t happen, it ran successfully on the first try! Look forward to many years of future Christmas enjoyment.
