My bathtub is pretty close to my toilet, leaving very little room for my large arthritic hands to install the bottom bolt; however, it does a great job of stabilizing the bidet toilet seat. It works so well that my wife asked me to get another set to stabilized her toilet seat too. This product requires good dexterity in your hands and patience when working in small areas when you cannot see the end the nut and bolt you are attempting to connect with one hand while keeping two washers on the bolt from falling off. Again, I had a 32 inch wide tub installed in a 30 inch wide space leaving little room to work with, so the installation was difficult for me to do with one hand, but I did it and am very happy with the sturdiness that this product provides. It was well-worth the price and I recommend it to friends, family, and others looking for a great value for the money that works better than any other toilet seat fastener set that I have used in the past 50 plus years. They work, they’re study, and my toilet seat hasn’t budged in months. I have an older toilet and I couldn’t use the washers but it doesn’t matter. They’re longer than they need to be but that doesn’t matter either.

==========update 11/2025 - replaced : ( 1 year later I had to replace them. I guess the years of one and done are gone, but I sure wish I'd get more than a year out of a product! They are the best I've found so far, do keep the seat tight while they last. The rubber and the metal corroded, but it was the rubber that required a replacement. Once off I changed everything because the metal started to look bad and I figured just a matter of time B4 I'd have to change it anyway. ==========original 12/2024 It was a little tricky to install because there are so many pieces and our toilet is in a tight spot. Not really hard but especially the bottom washers and trying to screw the bottom piece in was awkward. The commode we have is from the 70s so the holes were a bit smaller. The metal pieces would not fit but the rubber stoppers did, although a little smooshed. Not 5 stars yet, because so many products now a days have such short lives. Will update.

If I could give it more stars I would. The plastic screws that came with the toilet never kept the toilet seat in place. Since I have put these on the seat hasn’t moved. Great quality. Great fit. Way better than the plastic ones. Definitely will recommend

This is a problem nobody speaks about, but it needs to be solved. Even $1000 toilets come w cheap plastic nurs and bolts to secure the toilet seat. Shift yer weight, and the seats slides too. Unnerving and a terrible jolt for your guests, and grandpa. These lock that suckered down. You can chair dance now.

Easy to install. Seat remains locked in place. Too bad my toilet seat quality is not great. The seat moves but not because of the screws. Will buy more for my other seats.
