Very nice fountain. It works as advertised. I've only had moderate Sun so I really haven't seen the full effect yet. This solar fountain is great - it really fountains! The birds have been frolicking in it non stop since I set it up. Frolicking I say! And it could barely be called set up. You put this fountain in sunshine & it goes to town fountaining! It came with 7, SEVEN! attachments so you can choose from a variety of fountainage. The fountaination can be controlled from low to high too. Amazon is asking about the battery power but who cares?? This baby is solar powered and is very sensitive to light. It fountains away in direct sunlight and still fountains softly if a cloud passes over. But it is solar so fountaination does pause in shade. But I didn’t want to deal with cords way out in my garden so I’m perfectly happy with the fountulation of this solar fountain. Suction is strong and the filter has kept debris out for reliable fountaining. So get this solar fountain for your backyard fountaineering.

Update: the seller has very kindly offered a refund. I will give this product another try after the refund comes through. This little fountain was really cool. Started right up when I put it in water on a sunny day. Even kept sputtering a less steady stream as the sun was going down, so I was impressed. It worked for about 2 weeks and then stopped working. I tried all the suggestions - cleaning it, shaking it, submerging it, etc. but it never came back to life. It was pretty cheap to buy, so it’s not like I’m out a ton of money, but I wish it had lasted a few months to get us through summer.

This little fountain is very neat. It doesn't look like much, but as soon as we got it out of the packaging into the light, it started vibrating, and when we put it in our pond it immediately began to work. It's such a cute addition, and I love how easy it assembled and how it came to life in the sun. the fountain is quite high on it, and that it shuts off without light. In the sun, it's a little powerhouse and a really sweet addition to a pond or birdbath. The material is durable and has held up to floating around our rocky pond with no issues, and even in slightly mucky water, the suction power of this is excellent.

Worked for a few weeks then nothing. Plenty of sun but motor not working.

07/11/2021 3months after I purchased it… today i tried to clean the unit and the birdbath. After cleaning was done, I added water and placed the fountain on the bath, just as what I had done in the past few months. What… no water from the fountain, even with full sun! I shook the unit. Put it back on the bath. Still not water fountain. Very disappointed. It will be put into recycle bin. Disappointed. DON’T BUY. NOT RECOMMENDED. Junk… 😠 05/06/2021 1 month after I deployed it, today, as a routine, I took the fountain aside and I used bare hands to wash the birdbath. Then I noticed the solar surface looked unusual… there were dark and shiny areas on the Matt grey surface. I took a closer look… the Matt grey color was actually a coating on the surface of the solar cells. Some of this coating had become loose. I moved my bare hand over the spot… wow… the grey coating came off. See for yourself… This was totally unexpected. Thus far, this issue does not seem to stop the fountain from working under the sun. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I hope the manufacturer can respond to this issue. Until I am satisfied with the remendy, I am changing the ratings to 3 stars. NOT RECOMMENDED ————————————————————————————————————————————————— I looked at a number of similar products on the Amazon site. Majority of them fail in a fairly short time. I was a bit put off by this. But in the back of my mind, I wonder why so many fail. Then a few days ago... an idea came... water left under the sun will start to grow all kinds of things... slime and dirt and what not. People left it under the sun , not doing regular maintenance - like changing water with fresh ones frequently, washing off any dirt and grime. So I deduced that in time, the pump mechanism sucks up enough dirts and grime, will clog up and stop working. As if Amazon knew what I was thinking, the next day, I received an email from Amazon suggesting this particular make. After looking into it in greater details, I realized that this is a better product, designed to perform better - that it has a foam piece material in the suction to minimize dirts from being sucked up and create blockage. I have been using it for a couple of days. I wash the bird bath every morning, clearing all residues from the dish, and refill with fresh water. So far so good. However, I am bothered by the fact the the bird bath quickly loses water... I already chose a low spray but the wind blows the sprays to the side and loses water. So in half a day, the spray diminishes to a tiny flow. Today, following other reviewers, I removed the spray nozzle. Just let water flow freely from the open top. This far, it has retained enough water to keep the water flowing in decent quantity. I don’t know how long it will last. My 1st experience about such product. Hence the 4 stars for now. Come winter time, when I remove it for the cold weather... if it still works, I shall change it to 5 stars.

I bought a couple of these this summer to put in bird baths and other whimsical containers. They really add a lovely visual to the bath, and the dancing water definitely attracts birds to bathe and sip. If you have a very shallow bath (as most bird baths are), you have to refill the bath often so that the little motor does not burn out. Deeper containers will help you avoid having to do the daily refill. These little fountains can bring a lot of peace and joy to those who love the gentle sound of water.

Bought before, bought again, and will buy in the future. Easy care and affordable! The birds love it!

Article très performant, même dans l'ombre envoi un jet moins fort que en plein soleil
