I loved these mini barbells.. after many attempts to find the ones that I had originally, I finally found what I consider to be the closest. When I got my industrial, my piercer had gauged the holes with two barbells, so I just got used to wearing the two separate ones. I had purchased a regular industrial bar and I know it was 14 G, so when I went to put in the original set I purchased (4 MM balls, 6 MM in length), I held them in between my fingers and could tell they were not 14 G, they were maybe 13, (I know thats not a size, but it def, wasn't 14 G). I also held it up to my ear and it wasn't nearly big enough at all! If I put them in, they would look like I just had two balls stuck to my ears on each side of my lobe. Which in some cases would look cool, almost like an illusion effect, but I had a certain fit I wanted. I returned them and tried again this time with 5 MM balls and I upped the length of the post to 10 MM... Perfect for me!! I've attached photos and put a bottle cap for size reference. Bought these as retainers for my septum piercing, and it's perfect for keeping it hidden. I have trouble with the angled, staple-type retainers because they collect condensation and make me sniffle all day. You might want to get smaller mm end caps, but it's fine as is for me.

Apparently companies haven’t realized that some people need to buy these things sets individually so I was forced to buy a set of which one pair I am 100% unable to use. Fine. I’ll give the gold pair to one of my piercing friends. However, I needed the black pair and upon opening the package BOOM...one pair was entirely missing a ball. Great. I needed theses by tomorrow, so returning isn’t an option. Now I’m gonna have to contact every single one of my piercing friends to see if they have a matching black ball so that I look the way I’m supposed to for an event tomorrow. (Small socially distanced wedding) Lovely.

Great looking little barbells, but I don't know if it's solid stainless steel.I used one in my septum. After 3 days, I kept having a metallic smell, but I paid no mind to it. After 5 days, I used a cotton swab to clean the area and there was RUST on the swab!!! I took the bar out and am returning for a refund.

The balls are very loose and keep falling off no matter how much I tied them. And it is VERY hard to put them together. I may just return them.
