I am incredibly and pleasantly surprised by the performance of this curl styler. It's super lightweight but heavy enough to deliver real performance on 4A and 4B hair. It's called a "Whip" which I think is an accurate description of the texture and weight of the product which is comparable to a lightweight pudding. I used this on both my daughter and myself. We respectively have 4B and 4A hair types. It worked wonders for both of us. We had soft, moisturized hair all week until the next wash. I wasn't afraid to try this product based on the price level but will keep buying this as it is a great product at the value. I'm now a loyal Aunt Jackie's customer due to the performance of this product and the Leave-In Conditioner product I bought with this one. Great products and I'll keep buying more from this brand due to consistency in performance.

Amazing product! Creamy texture, light weigh and smells really good. Flaxseed is great for hair. I have purchases this product several times already because it keeps my dry hair full of moisturizer.

This does a great job of keeping my teen sons hair moisturized. It has a strong smell but it isn't unpleasant. Keeps his curls looking good for a couple days if he cares for it properly. I would purchase again. Hair drys a little slow but curls are defined and bouncy when it does dry. Usually a quick touch up will get him through a few more days. He has very fine, very dry hair with a 3b/c curl.

I bought this product to style my hair and keep my curls together, preferably for 2-3 days. It was fine most of the first day, but by the end of the day it was clear that second day curls were not going to happen. I feel like it was moisturizing because my hair was really soft but it's not really doing the styling thing for me. I have now bought a DevaCurl Arc Angel gel that does keep the curl for several days. Now, on days 2 and 3, I am able to use the Curl Manetenance to refresh my curls and eliminate any overnight frizz.

If there’s any Aunt Jackie product that you’re going to buy, I definitely recommend getting the chrome maintenance. It has flaxseeds and I know that flax seeds are really good for elasticity. I had my crows Poppin the smell of it was really the smell of. It’s really nice as like this sweet like I don’t know like an orange like mango kind of smell, but you know the smell chemicals but like not like because it’s hair products not because it’s it smells like heavily like chemicals, but it always made my curls feel very light and, it was always like the product itself is not very heavy on the hair and I think that’s really important so definitely recommend on Aunt Jackie’s Curl maintenance cream

My hair is 3c and this product with a light wet down has started to help reduce my frizz. I use this along with the curl mane-tance. I put the mane-tance on first I use it heavy in areas that get really frizzy (crown of my head) then go all around then I'll apply the butter cream comb it all through this do a two strand twist pin them up until. Once I'm done getting dress untwist my hair then scrunch it and by the time it completely dries my frizz is somewhat gone. I know its going to take time to train that part of my hair but so far these 2 products seem to be what it needs. My top products out of this line is the coco co-wash, knot on my watch, curl mane-tance, and curl boss. I do a deep condition once a week with the cocoa repair

This product has to be one of the best, it defines my curls and it lasts throughout the day into the next, just make sure you wet your hair before applying it though in case you get residue. Makes my hair feel really soft as well and it leaves a nice texture, definitely recommend 👍🏾👍🏾

I have 4C hair and this gel really impressed me. It gives great definition and helps stretch my curls a bit without making them feel stiff or flaky. My hair stays soft and manageable, and the shine it gives is a nice bonus. I used to buy this back when I lived in the US, so I’m really glad to find it available here in the UK now. It works perfectly with the Curl La La — definitely worth a try if you love defined, moisturised curls that last.
