If you are deciding between the 6 foot cable or the 10 foot one, always get the longer one. The distance I actually needed was 6 feet but the extra length allows you to move the monitor or computer once they are connected. Basically extra length to give you some wiggle room. The cable is high quality and shielded properly. I experienced no feedback or interference.The outlet on my computer is DVI so I used the DVI side of the cable to connect it. My monitor has a HDMI outlet so the HDMI side of the cable is connected to the monitor. I am running Windows 7. When I turned on the computer, it was instantly recognized and I could see and image on the screen. The image is crisp and clear. I also played a music video to make sure there wasn’t any weird feedback or interference. This cable does the job and works flawlessly.

I needed these to use an HDMI-only monitor plugged into a computer video output - and I get a perfect image on the monitor!

I have a 2-n-1 desk top and purchased an additional Dell monitor from Best Buy on Black Friday deals. I could not use the cord that came with the monitor. BB sold me a converter cable. When Dell recently updated I could no longer use the monitor. Luckily I found a You Tube video from NYC Camper that suggested this cable as an alternative setup. WOW!!!! I now have a spectacular monitor with excellent screen and picture quality. What a difference this cable made!!! I am a researcher, not a gamer. However, it would still be worth the purchase to try it for gaming qualities.

Purchased because my DELL monitor wouldn't accept my HDMI input on a new computer. I don't know why. Fortunately the monitor had DVI as an alternative. Works great, no issue thus far. Make sure your DVI pin configuration matches the cable you purchase.

I have a 26” second monitor bought for the home office in anticipation of working from home, when the pandemic came to the US.So for the past 2 years, the monitor sat without much use, soon to be headed to the “technology attic” when I found this.The cable is flawless and saved me from having to shell out for another monitor.

I have a laptop that only has HDMI and USB-C connections. I do a lot of statistical work as part of my job and when I'm at home I use my laptop that has all of my statistical packages on it. Anyone that works with data knows that working on just one small screen is inconvenient, time-consuming and annoying. I regularly have two large screens attached to my computer at work.When I work remotely, I need the same thing. My monitor at home, however, has only DVI connections. Though they make long DVI to HDMI cables, I currently have none at home and wanted to have an adapter that gave me flexibility in places where I don't have access to these cables. This adapter is excellent quality and works as advertised. Best, it's small enough to fit into my laptop bag without taking up a bunch of space.

all we need is a cable that connects to monitor that DVI and a laptop that has HDMI.... that's what i was at.bought this lowest priced cable and i'm using my monitor without trouble. i can't complain about the quality. i still will say greatest and satisfying quality for the price.
