I bought this deshedding rake after seeing it being used by a professional groomer on YouTube. I have had it now for about 2 weeks & was surprised at just how easily & how well it removes the dead undercoat fur. Prior to receiving this tool I was only using a slicker brush & thought that this was getting all the dead fur out, but this tool proved that that idea was wrong. If you have a double coated dog, I would highly recommend buying a tool like this one as they are very efficient, easy to use, don't bother the dog & it will also prevent that dead fur falling out all over your house. This tool is fantastic on my spayed Golden Retriever! Works much better than other strippers I have used. I also use it on my show dog ,doesn’t damage top coat which is very important. Comfortable in my hand, easy to clean , faster than others I have used. Any dog that is double coated dog owners will be happy without how easy it is to use for any hair length.

We’ve a two year old Sprocker Spaniel who hates (mostly) or isn’t keen (on a good day) on being groomed Whilst we’d used a Furninator tool to do his back, he wouldn’t tolerate it on his legs at all, and his feathers were getting really long and tangled. I’ve bought lots of tools - and hesitated about spending more money on yet another that didn’t work. But straight away the results were impressive! It didn’t get tangled in his fur. It almost glides through. And the amount of fur that came out - that’s from one short use (before he got fed up). Super easy to use and has made an immediate impact on his coat. Much of the light, old coat is gone and he is back to a glossy dark chocolate colour. I’m almost excited to use it again and finally day goodbye to all that straggly old fur. It’ll make life so much easier this winter when he’s getting wet almost every walk. Superb tool and I would recommend it to every spaniel owner, even though whose dogs don’t really like being groomed. I found it super satisfying - so by the end of day one, I had a huge pile of fur (second photo).

A functional, practical and effective tool to deal with dogs with thick coats. Worked very well on my cocker spaniel. Highly recommened.
