Q: What are the dimensions of this item?

It is not 29 inches wide nor the 29.1 inches in the spec. It is actually 29.25 inches. It was a problem with my crate because it was too wide.

If your crate is 42 inches long the pan will fit in the crate. I am not sure of the width of it. I was worried about that too but took the chance. It fits perfect for the 42 inch long crate

I just measured mine. Amazon notified me of your question, so I'm assuming the link you are referring to is exactly the same one I ordered through Amazon. Mine is 42 x 28... measuring from outside edge to outside edge. The other person that listed 23.5 must have been from another link. I hope that helps.

This one should be good for you. Nearly the exact dimensions of this pan are 35x23. As a replacement to the one that came with the crate, this one is a bit more snug than the original. However, it can be wedged in place. It's not as easily removed.
